The Happiest Sandwich Shop In The World
The Grove, Rowlands GillLovely sandwich shop with a friendly owner and staff, all locally based. Nice food, I used to work there and can attest to the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Rowlandsgill area.

Old Co-op buildings, Hookergate Ln, High Spen, Rowlands GillLove it at The Beat n Track Cafe. Lovely coffee, bacon butties, toasties, cakes and much more. Amazing hosts Mo, Jan and Bill. Such a warm friendly atmosphere with cool funky decor. Great music playing in the background. All together fantastic friendly visit. Great quality food at reasonable prices. Great selection of food and beverages for a selection of dietary requirements. Love a regular visit and hopefully will make the specialist pizza night on Friday..that will be my second time! It’s excellent xx Love this place…uplifts my spirits xx Thanks gang xx

The Bute Arms
Hookergate Ln, High Spen, Rowlands GillThis is a great, family friendly pub with lots to offer from a fabulous menu, to pub quizzes. The all day breakfast was lovely and a very good portion size. As we went for lunch, we also ordered the 3 for £15 plates which were very tasty. Great community, would recommend!!

Maguires Chip Shop
Burnopfield Rd, Rowlands GillOn our holidays here, we popped across to this chip shop after visiting family and the fish was cooked to order, I can probably say one of the nicest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time.
