Caffè Nero is a perfect little hideaway for coffee and cake in the middle of the city. The staff are friendly and provide first-class service, often going above and beyond. Although it can get busy during lunch rush, the staff are quick to manage the queues. The store is generally clean, and the atmosphere is desirable, especially in this particular location, which is generally quiet despite being just off Northumberland Street. It offers seating on both the ground floor and first floor. However, some customers have experienced occasional issues with service, and the toilets could use a good clean. A flat white ordered at the cafe was well-balanced and served at a good temperature.
