Chequers Ln, Walton on the Hill, TadworthHave been here many times over the years and more so recently with my family and kids. Most times I do come, there is a lovely young lady, I believe to be one of the managers, Demi, who is always super attentive and lovely. She is always smiling and welcoming. Bruno (my dog) loves her too - think it might be the treats.
Food is always lovely. Fab selection of drinks for everyone. All staff are lovely and welcoming.

Dorking Rd, TadworthLovely little place to eat, we stopped off after a day out at Boxhill Park, great staff & very friendly, nice atmosphere, food was amazing, good selection of drinks, didn’t have enough space for dessert, but hey maybe next time.

The Inn On The Green
Dorking Rd, TadworthWe planned a surprise birthday for my amazing mother in law, she lives local to the area, but we do not, so we embraced the help and support from Julie (landlady) to help plan and also invite local friends to join us, Julie went above and beyond, supporting our idea, and some how keeping in a secret from my detective mother in law, the service was 5* and the buffet that Julie had free rein on was simply amazing, I don’t think there was any left! And many of us still talk about it now. And a small thank you to the barmaid V, how made the best baby guiness! Sadly I took very few photos, but I will try to source some. Due to family all travelling from different locations we were also able to reserve rooms, and the feed back I have received was they all sleep so comfortably, and the breakfast was just perfect and well needed! Thank you once again Julie and Team. You all did yourself proud.

Smith & Western - Boxhill
Boxhill Rd, TadworthI don’t know how they do it! The atmosphere is like a busy bustling wild western saloon with all the laugher, music and awesome awesome BIG US Food! It was such a class evening, the kids loved it and more importantly the big kids loved it! ? (Try and carpool as parking is tight!)

The food is always perfectly cooked the value for money is excellent food quality is really good, not cheap like most cafes. the staff are always friendly. In the UK most decent pubs are dog friendly, historically it’s part of the culture to be. On entrance with a dog you need to make sure that you enter through the correct door. The front door that is on the right side.
Toilets are small and need updating as pink paint is flaking off the tiles.
Friendly locals/ staff.

2 Waterhouse Ln, Kingswood, Banstead, TadworthReally impressed. All of the dishes were tasty and piping hot. The poppadoms came with lots of the dips, I tried dishes I've never had before and they were very tasty. The waiters were very chatty but not overbearing and gave recommendations based on the meal we ordered. Unfortunately I was only visiting the area and can't go more often. Highly recommended.

I have multiple allergies, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs with a custom order. I had the chicken corn soup, which was flavorful and delicious. The attention to detail and care in both the food and service made for a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions.

Hardy's Fish & Chips Shop
6 The Parade, Burgh Heath, TadworthStayed in the premier inn about 3 mins walk away. Used google maps to find this place and I have to say the food was A1. I’m super fussy with food and I’d happily eat from here again. In fact I’m that impressed and Ive left a review. I’ve never left a review on anything. A++++.

There's a car wash, air and water services, an M&S and a Wild Bean Cafe, that sell a wide range of products such as flowers, cards, magazines, normal shopping goods and pastries etc. The breakfast meal deal is fantastically priced too!

Station Fish
1, Station Buildings, 1 Cross Rd, TadworthI absolutely ADORE this fish and chips shop! The food is fantastic, the portions are really generous and the price is very reasonable. The chips are sublime and the staff are even more so! The staff are so friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The shop is also really clean and tidy.
If my family ever make something for dinner that would be great with chips, we always go get the chips from here rather than making them ourselves. It’s pretty obvious to say but if we ever want takeaway fish and chips, it can’t be anywhere other than the Station Fish shop! Thank you staff for always being so fantastic and the amazing work that you do!

We haven’t had any issues with quality of any of the above.We have one issue, with one particular staff member: the rude person who answers the phone. She is NOT one of the owners or any relation to them. Unfortunately we think she is going to cost the restaurant significant customer loss. She was abrupt, short/sharp, impatient, kept cutting us off AND got part of the order wrong because she thought she knew best. My mum has a food intolerance to onions and there’s a dish we have that the owners know we have, and they specifically asked us to ask for it *this way*. When saying that on the phone, rude girl with major attitude problem said “we have so many customers. We can’t remember each one”. My mum said “Tina or ruby will know if you ask them, they’ve told us to ask for it this way”. So I continued to explain and she said “we either have salt and pepper or we have garlic. I’m not running around asking other staff members what you want” and I tried to continue to explain and she kept cutting us off. Now, if we hadn’t just got home from a day out and weren’t all starving, I would have hung up then and there… but we hadn’t eaten since noon and it was 7:30pm, so we were taking attitude problem over snapping back at her. We got to the restaurant and my mum asked the waitress to double check the specific dish - lo and behold, it was incorrect. To which the girl on the phones snapped “excuse me madam. I took your order and you said nothing about no onion” which we absolutely did, and told her that. The other waitress (one of many lovely staff members there) then asked why we didn’t ask for it the way we have been told to, which we said we did, but we were spoken down to and told basically we are wrong.Hopefully this person either receives some training or doesn’t work there much longer because we have been going there for many many years and this would truly be a disappointing experience for most people, ESPECIALLY if they’ve never been there before. Imagine being a first time customer there and having someone talk to you like you’re beneath them, THEN arguing with you about it in the restaurant… ? this person is going to cost the restaurant some losses.

Have had Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, never been disappointed. Lots of events going on with great atmosphere, especially quiz nights. Great place for kids, smashing menu and plenty for kids to do. Would thoroughly recommend The Blue Ball for a great time whether its brunch, lunch dinner or just a drink

Brighton Road, TadworthThis is a small petrol station with an expected small ship inside. There are air and water facilities next to the building and plenty of space for all sorts of vehicles. Prices here aren't too bad and seem to almost always be better than the BP garage 1 minutes away. Staff are satisfactory and you can pay using the mobile app which is MUCH easier and a lot quicker when paying for fuel. I strongly recommend using the app as it can be used across all Shell stations.

Mogador Road, Mogador Rd, Mogador, TadworthHad the function room for a 90th celebration. Food was tasty, slight delay on one dish but nothing too serious. Parking good and overall reasonably priced. A bit off the beaten track and near to some lovely walks so worth a visit for an afternoon.
Dog friendly which was a big plus for us.

Burgh Heath Tandoori

Easy to use website for ordering, delivered quickly and dishes were tasty and filling.
Chicken vindaloo and Bombay aloo were delicious, Naan bread, rice and onion bahjees cooked perfectly.
We have never been disappointed by their food and will continue to use on a regular basis.
