105-107 Station Rd E, OxtedWe managed to get a last minute booking for our family birthday celebration, having been caught out by the torrential rain which resulted in the original restaurant we'd booked having to close due to flooding.
We ended up having a fab meal. Service was great with an extremely professional and lovely waitress, who was very patient with us. Thank you for saving my sisters birthday celebrations!

10 Station Rd W, OxtedMe and my partner were recommended Cattle & Cocktails by a family friend. I can honestly say I’ve never had such a pleasant experience when going out for a meal. It was line and my partners 7 year anniversary - and were welcomed with a glass of bubbly to celebrate the occasion. We were here on a Wednesday so we could take advantage of the £20pp deal they had on, adding a bottle of wine to the meal. The steak frittes were fantastic, and the steak was cooked to perfection. One of the better meals I’ve had in a long time, and I won’t hesitate to come back or recommend to other friends and family.

The Old Bell
68 High St, Old Oxted, OxtedThis occasion was a family gathering, so people travelled from all parts of the SEast. Our server was Gillian who, as always was polite, friendly and welcoming. However, when the meal finished the Manager was very off hand and rushed us out, because she was having a break and wanted to eat!! The Bell needs to train someone else to operate the till, so that the manager can have her break and customers are not rushed and hurried out! Up till then it was a very pleasant experience, but next time, we will find some where else for our gathering! There is plenty to choose from in Oxted. (Sorry Gillian)

Friendly staff and good service. We were both delighted with our breakfast choices. Good selection on the menu. Cafe atmosphere is Lekker! Will most definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Hats of to the chef and the lovely attentive staff. The chicken cesar salad is my favourite and my husband loves the steak and ale pie for a truly hearty lunch. The cakes available and the breakfast menu are also excellent. Amazing omlette, with choice of fillings. You won't be disappointed!

The pizza was excellent! The crust was crispy yet soft on the inside, and they offer a good range of toppings, from classic pepperoni to more gourmet options like BBQ chicken. The cheese was generously layered, and the sauce had a rich, tangy flavor without being overpowering. The balance of toppings was great, making each bite enjoyable. I’d recommend their signature meat lover's pizza for anyone craving a hearty meal.
The service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. The staff seemed understaffed for the crowd, leading to slightly longer wait times, both for ordering and receiving food. However, they were accommodating and made sure our food was hot and fresh when it arrived.

Tanhouse Rd, OxtedI popped in for a quick pint while on a walk. It's a free house, and had a great selection of real ales (about £5 per pint).
I plumped for Shere Drop from the Surrey Hills Brewery, never having drunk it before. It was a lovely pint.
Nice pub, great drinks selection, does food, spacious and a huge beer garden. It caters for families too.
Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly.

82-84 Station Rd E, OxtedCook is great, and a fail safe option. The Oxted branch has lovely staff and we’ve found the whole team really helpful. Today though Lisa went above and beyond, we messed up our timings slightly and wouldn’t have made it to the store in time, so called and asked if we could pop in a few minutes after they closed to pick up their stunning butter chicken dish and some side dishes. She put it all to the side and stayed open just so we could purchase it, how wonderfully kind and lovely! Thanks so much Lisa:)

94 Station Rd E, OxtedNeeded a good old fashioned Chinese takeaway to feed teenagers. Friendly efficient staff and freshly cooked food in generous portion sizes. Piping hot and tasty, went down well. Our usual Chinese is currently closed but we would definitely use this one again. Everyone enjoyed their food.

The Barley Mow
Tandridge Ln, Tandridge, OxtedWe came here for dinner and got the sausage and mash and pie. The sausages weren’t your typical Cumberland but we’re still tasty. We got a couple of deserts and they were delicious.
We were there on a Saturday night early and it was nice and quiet, staff were friendly and food was okay!

I recently visited Pizza Express Oxted and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, as always - the Pollo ad Astra was cooked to perfection. But what truly elevated my experience was our waitress, Izzy.
Izzy was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She offered great recommendations and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. Her positive attitude and genuine smile added a special touch to our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Pizza Express. The food is consistently good, but the exceptional service from Izzy made our visit truly memorable. If you're looking for a great dining experience, ask for Izzy - you won't be disappointed!

Deep Blue Fish & Chips
17-19 Station Rd E, OxtedThe fish and chips were lovely , crisp fresh batter, soft fluffy chips on the inside with a nice crisp edge, all the staff were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone else.

46 Station Rd E, OxtedElegant and stylish setting, we had a comfortable and well positioned table with plenty of space. Beautiful attention to detail and a very warm welcome from the team. Smiling and charming service. Food was absolutely delicious: soft shell crab, sushi, grilled meats all a highlight. I loved the wide choice of sake by the glass: get stuck in an experiment. I had 3 and they were all tasty and matched with the food perfectly. Good coffee and my husband loved his wee ice cream cone to finish. Excellent: I only wish this was in our neighbourhood. Lucky Oxted.

28-30 Station Rd E, OxtedI was meeting an old friend here and we had a lot to catch up on. The staff were friendly and efficient: they didn’t rush us either with ordering or eating. They were polite, observant and efficient. They recommended an excellent wine to accompany our fish kebabs (which were absolutely delicious ?). It was a Monday evening, when normally most eateries would struggle to fill up their seats. We arrived soon after opening but very soon the place was packed with every table taken - a testament to a really good restaurant. Even though it was full, the clientele were making quiet conversation so it was perfectly possible to speak to each other and be heard! cannot rate Cucina highly enough and will certainly be returning. ?

5-6 Hoskins Walk, OxtedTotally deserves 5 stars in all aspects. Genuinely tasty and authentic Thai food served with equally authentic sincerity, courtesy and warmth. All the usual favourites and a couple of specialities to enjoy. Ended the meal with a very reasonably priced but very delicious lychee martini. Cheers!
