1 The Square, LightwaterWhere does one start to praise Randall’s Coffee and Wine Bar in Lightwater? We used this gorgeous intimate venue on Saturday night for a 60th birthday celebration. From the outset, nothing was too much trouble for Viv and her team. They managed all the drink and food supply to perfection. Nothing was wasted, replenishing the delicious platters as necessary, covering all the drink requirements from soft, non alcoholic to spirits and hot drinks. A budget was agreed and strictly adhered to. Nobody went without a drink all night. Viv made sure of this discreetly and without any fuss.
Upon arrival the venue was beautifully dressed with pretty lights, accessories, music and tables arranged for eating and drinking. The outside area was cordoned off with notices advising a private party and a welcome sign for guests.
All our guests gushed about the service, delicious food, lovely staff and venue. It was truly the perfect setting for a lovely informal celebration. An absolute asset to Lightwater village by day for coffee, cakes, etc and evenings as a wine bar. Great choice of wines, beers and other drinks. Fantastic sharing boards and platters catering for everyone i.e. vegetarians and severe allergies and very reasonably priced - delicious.
What more can one say except thank you, thank you, thank you. You really made our celebration extra special.

Adriatico - Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

A cozy little Italian restaurant for great food. Be it Pizza or Pasta, they do it right. Like home cooked meals. Do make sure you leave room for the homemade Tiramisu.
The service is excellent. Warm, friendly, witty and caring. Although I don't drink alcohol now, the Pecorino desert wine smelled good and was thoroughly enjoyed by my friend. Wish it was closer to home to visit more often.

114 Guildford Rd, LightwaterOur party of 8 adults and 2 children were seated comfortably in the conservatory for lunch. The menu was extensive with something for everyone. The food was timely, well presented and exceeded our expectations in volume quality and taste. We would not hesitate to recommend this pub fare as well worth a visit.

37 Guildford Rd, LightwaterAll the staff seem so well chosen. Lovely to go in to a store where you get 5* service. A special shoutout to Nikki with the dodgy knee!!! I hadn't bought any meals from Cook before. I can honestly say 'try them'. Price wise I thought very reasonable for food that hasn't come off of a conveyor belt. Many thanks Nikki. 67 Guildford Rd, LightwaterWent here last night to eat in, unfortunately it's quite a small place and with it being almost full and lots of people talking it was just too loud for us. We decided to order takeaway instead, and so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely order from them again

66 Guildford Rd, LightwaterJust been for an interview. Staff are warm and friendly. Bartrum the assistant manager made me feel at ease. Only downside is BP don't offer flexible hours only 8hr shifts so unfortunately not what I was looking for, however if you are looking to work in a warm and friendly environment then I would definitely recommend applying.Thank you to the team at Lightwater for making me feel so welcome.
