The Cyder House Inn
Peper Harow Ln, GodalmingWe went because we know the vegan food is great, and it did not disappoint again (we had the burger, banana blossom 'fish' and squash goulash and then the orange tart). The staff were also very nice. Great to have places like this with good options!
Edit: we basically come here every year for a birthday, can confirm 2 years later it's still great.

Ockford Rd, GodalmingOur experience today was absolutely amazing, especially for a Sunday, the pub was quiet and the food quality was phenomenal. Our server Matilda took great care of us and we are definitely going to come back. We’ve always had a great experience coming here and we highly recommend!

149 High St, GodalmingThe best pint in Godalming. Super secret garden out back plus a large marquee for outside drinking and dining. Good selection of beers and guest ales and a lunchtime menu to suit all. Double fire places in the main bar and a great back bar with dart board. It is also the only place to watch the six nations with friends and family. Guess beer is Abbot. Tribute is still a Superb pint.

Loved the beams and general feel of the place. marked 4 not 5 for atmosphere because it was quiet when we were there daytime. Im sure it’s a lot of fun and buzzing in the evening

1 Mill Ln, GodalmingCouldn't fault this venue for quality, service or atmosphere. An absolutely fantastic meal, with high quality friendly service. Dog friendly too. The landlord was warm friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced too. What a shame we are only in the area for a few hours or we would certainly return. Thank you.
Parking: Two nearby pay and display car parks. Blue badge holders must pay and display, vut get an extra hour.

Fantastic place for live music, and Monday is open mic night, which is always a paced night with musicians and comedians alike.
Great place not to be missed.

All the food that we ordered was brilliant, but the highlight of our meal was a tomahawk - perfect cut of meat cooked exactly as we liked it.
The staff was very friendly and nice and had great recommendations for the wine, and the chef came out to greet us and chat to us throughout the meal which was an extra bonus
The place itself is very cozy and cute and it’s easy to find parking
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but this place is focused on meat and fish

Always decent.
Bruschetta not large plate but perfectly tasty.
Mains for myself and partner both good Pasta dishes.
Only slight criticism was my Crepe for dessert was cold and with a gentle word to waitress I received a free Limoncello shot...fair recompense I guess!?
The Montepulciano was also nice- I like the Carafe option which offers sufficient for 2 with 1 maybe driving??
Nice spot along a highstreet - Godalming - offering a good selection of eateries.
Will happily revisit in time. X
Wheelchair accessibility: Not great - Partners son is in a Wheelchair but can access via side alley but best advise in advance so staff can move any bikes etc!!

Service very good, just a bit quiet as we went on a Tuesday late afternoon, but then we didn't have to wait too long. Definitely try and get along again. Thanks.

The St, Hascombe, GodalmingI came to this pub on sunday for a roast, and can I just say I was absolutely blown away. Everything was perfect! We had the T-bone steak, which came with all the sides a normal roast does, and two roast beefs. All of the dishes were cooked to perfection! The environment was buzzing from the moment we walked into the door! We were greeted by a lovely smile and got seated almost instantly! Our lovely server Maia made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole meal, we never felt we had to catch her attention. To sum it up this is an excellent pub with excellent food, will definitely be returning!

Homemade sandwiches were tasty. Competitive prices. Live music on a Saturday afternoon was a real bonus! Would definitely visit here again.

The coffee is delicious and well executed and the staff are always friendly. The food was always good (but seemed to fluctuate in quality and taste) but now sometime in the beginning of 2025 they brought in a new chef and the quality shot up 200%. Love it.

91 High St, GodalmingStaff at the café today, in Godalming Caffè Nero (4th December, 4pm) were extremely friendly and accommodating. Could not praise them more for their great efforts; I was struggling with my newborn, trying to feed, etc, and they were so helpful trying to sort me out too!
Noemi is great as always but in particular Dom who despite serving other customers, would check up on us in between serving to ensure we were ok.
Thank you guys!
Kid-friendliness: There are baby changing facilities and various areas to feed baby or bring kids to meet with friends and family. Staff always very accommodating, offering to refill the baby bottles!
