We had dinner here on Saturday 19th October. We have been meaning to try a meal here for a while, not disappointed. The food was excellent, crab cakes, goats cheese croquettes as starters, lamb, fennel and Gorgonzola tart as mains. We shared a panacotta, then shared a cheeseboard. Every dish was great. The welcome and service was perfect, very friendly and attentive but not too much. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Vegetarian options: There was only one vegetarian option, risotto, but two dishes that could be made vegetarian, goats cheese croquettes and fennel and Gorgonzola tart. Excellent

Parking: Free car park just round the corner. Street parking outside the restaurant but full when we visited

Stopped for lunch and we were kindly allowed to park our motorhome in the large carpark. The food and service was excellent. The local sausages were fabulous ?

Such a cosy, friendly pub. We will stop whenever we pass.
