A huge piece of fish, drowned in a fat chunk of batter.The chips are delightful with some ketchup and go down nicely with a coke.If you come here ask for the big big big big big cod and chips and ask for the coke at the back of the freezer.MmmmmmmmmmmSeriously. The skin is the best bit ??
We’ve now been several times and I’m happy to make this our regular fish and chip shop. To start, there is plenty of waiting room inside to distance from others and stay warm, and they take card! Always a bonus! The four of us all order different things (which is also great - the choice is vast!) and they are always as hot as each other, even after a 5 minute drive back home. Portions are generous, batter crispy, chips perfectly cooked and my husband has never found a bone...read full review

Had to travel a few miles to get to the shop but well worth it as way better than our local chippy. Delicious, perfectly cooked fresh fish, and chips were delicious, neither too greasy or soggy. No hesitation in returning in the future.
