This is our local pub and it is the best in the area. Good beer well kept. Really good food, nice dishes well cooked. Small menu well presented. Good wine list. Highly recommended.

Love café with some lovely fresh cooked food. It was tasty and very enjoyable to eat there and was relaxing too. The beef Lasagne is highly recommended and probably the best in Haverhill. As the Chief sure does know how to cook Lasagne.

This is our families favourite cafe to eat at when in Haverhill. We've been coming here for a little while now. I'm never one to stay on top of doing reviews but I thought it was deserving after having to eat somewhere else because Starburger were very busy today, and ending up not being totally satisfied with the place we ended up. We popped out to have a family lunch, but the cafe was very busy upon arrival and couldn't accommodate us for a little while, which is fine. I expected it to be some what busy on a Saturday. We usually come during the week when it's less busy. We'd already waited for about 15 minutes and it was quite chilly outside so didn't want to wait around much longer. We found another local cafe near by that was much more empty. We weren't too happy with it as an overall, and made us realise just how much we really enjoy Starburger!! Portion sizes are much more manageable. I'm not sure if restaurants think by serving you a mountain plate of food will encourage you to come back... It doesn't for me. Starburger feels and looks more cleaner as well, and reasonably priced. Nice, friendly service too.
Next time I will know to wait around, even when it is cold ?

We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and were lucky to have a secluded lunch visiting relations there. I was most impressed by the staff who were very accommodating and courteous - an -excellent range of real ales - at least 5( GK IPA, Timothy Taylor Boltmaker, Speckled Hen and 1 other I can't recall ).
This pub is bucking the trend by opening all week with food available every lunchtime and on 4 evenings!
Our portions were very generous, well cooked and very reasonably priced. I didn't venture into the main bar as it appeared busy and I don't like to photograph people as it may cause some embarrassment!!
What a gem!!

12 of us attended for my dads birthday (5 kids in total). So easy to book, the staff are so friendly and amazing with the kiddies. Were more than happy to accommodate us taking a cake and for the kids to eat it there. They have a little playcorner and put netflix on for the children. Food was absolutely stunning 0 complaints what so ever, a lovely atmosphere all round. Will absolutely be returning!

The Red Lion home cooked roast dinner is the epitome of a traditional Sunday roast done right. They offer a choice of meats, typically beef, lamb, pork, or chicken. The portions are generous, and the pricing offers value for the excellent quality of food. Have yet to find anywhere to beat their roast dinner. Service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the pub is cozy and inviting.

Popped in to Chippys when I was in the area on a job. Ordered a small Cod and Chips, The Cod was cooked lovely with a nice crispy batter and the chips were equally as nice.

Reasonably priced and polite staff. The portions of Chips could be slightly larger but I could not fault the quality of food and the service.

I will definitely visit again when I am in the area. Thank you.
