Huntingfield Arms
The St, Huntingfield, HalesworthWe had an evening meal there (4 of us) and all said how wonderful all the food was. Very reasonable priced as well. Service also very good. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and fancy a very good meal.

Boarding House Halesworth
10 Market Pl, HalesworthThe perfect way to end our holiday in Suffolk. We received first class service from the young lady who waited our table, the food was exceptional and the chef / owner was extremely friendly, kindly seating us inside when we had booked a table outdoors for our dog on a particularly chilly evening. The butternut soup starter was delicious, velvety smooth and fragrant. The fishcakes were fresh and zingy. The roast chicken & pork belly mains were REALLY tasty…and the ginger sticky toffee pudding left us in the best kind of coma ? I wish we lived closer so we could come back often! Don’t miss out on this place.

Racehorse Inn
Mill Common, HalesworthPopped into Racehorse Inn today. I cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat here.
We came to listen to the live music, which was excellent! had a drink and spoke to friends.
Situated in the middle of Westhall with it's own carpark and outside seating if the weather is dry.

The Suffolk Jungle Room @ The Wissett Plough
8 The St, Wissett, HalesworthLovely independent run by the loveliest people. Sam and Tony have created something special here: delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, cool plant cafe and they even accept Bitcoin as payment! Some great fundamentals there : ))

Huntsman & Hounds
2 Stone St, Spexhall, HalesworthVery enjoyable lunch for 4. Great option choices on the menu. A few draught beers as well. Very friendly & helpful staff. And reasonable prices to boot. My only 1 disappointment was the fish pie which would have benefited from a wider selection of fish. Lots of prawns, cooked well and very tasty, but no obvious chunks of other fish.

Focus Organic Ltd
14 Thoroughfare, HalesworthFocus is so valuable to us in Halesworth. We would be bereft if, like so many other shops in town, it were to close down. We would miss the lovely, friendly staff, the great variety of usual and unusual produce and we would lose a central meeting place for a great cup of coffee. Long may it trade!

Rajputh
26 Market Pl, HalesworthHad a take away 13th October. It was superb as per usual. Smiles all round and absolutely nothing left. We usually eat in for the atmosphere but find it equally as delicious at home. Can’t wait to have our next meal from the Raj Puth. Keep up the good work, a big thank. Steve

The Queen's Head at Bramfield
The St, Bramfield, HalesworthStopped off for dinner after the theatre, lovely warm log burner on the go, very welcoming
atmosphere. Staff were very efficient and attentive. Food was very good. Also nice to see 'locals' just drinking at the bar (we're only 4 miles down the road!).
Will definitely return, next time with dog in tow.

White Hart
10 Thoroughfare, Halesworth10/10 experience for my partner and I. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, eggs were beautifully done and the portion sizes were so large I could barely finish it myself. Being a tourist, I would definitely recommend this pub for an authentic English meal with kind, diligent service and a calm and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend :)

White Hart Blythburgh
London Rd, Blythburgh, HalesworthFabulous pub, right on the A12 just before the Southwold turn-off. Great choice of Adnams beers, top quality food and a nice relaxed ambience. Friendly, attentive staff, and, best of all, playing 70s Classics, and not too loud. Couldn't fault anything and great value for money.

Istanbul Kebab House
20 Market Pl, HalesworthAlways really tasty and freshly cooked food at good prices. The full range of kebabs, also pizzas and chicken and all the extras. Good size portions. The Mix kebab is a must-try.
I haven't commented on atmosphere as it's a takeaway, but staff are very friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile.
Will continue to be a regular.

Happy House
8 Bridge St, HalesworthWe have tried most of the Chineses around and this is the best one. All the food we've had is brilliant and when we get it with friends or family they say it is the best around also.
Keep the food coming!

Seashell
5 Bridge St, HalesworthFreshly cooked fish that was tasty, coupled with a decent portion of chips accompanied by a spicy curry sauce( traditional for a North East person). Friendly staff, I would recommend this place( or should that be plaice?). Although fairly expensive(£20 for 2), fish and potatoes have gone up in cost, it was good quality, not greasy and as a treat worth it.
