The Island Restaurant Stafford

Wonderful food, served by Maj, great atmosphere too. Prices excellent. Warned that they were busy and there may be a wait, but it wasn’t too long and the food was definitely worth the short wait.

Windmill Fish Bar

First trip to this fish and chip shop. Had heard really good things about it being the best place in Stafford. I have to say it didn't disappoint, the portion sizes were really good and the price wasn't too bad either. Went in to collect and didn't have to wait long either really maybe 5/6 minutes which I thought was very good. Service was superb the ladies running it were very chatty and the order was perfect ?finally the food itself was really really nice the fish was cooked well batter was really nice, the sausage was one of the best I have had at a chippy and the chips were decent, curry sauce was just alright I would say. I will certainly be going back a really good chippy.

Spread Eagle

Lovely late lunch here today. Hubby had mixed grill and I had the carvery. Lots of options on the menu and carvery. We hadn’t booked but after a short wait front of house found us a table. Can see why it’s really busy. Highly recommend

It's a cosy comfortable venue for customers of all ages and with lots of facilities.

Pub was great, cheaper than most but a decent selection. Not a lot of non alcoholic for my other half, though, and the toilets do require good walking climbing shoes ? but a

Great staff great kitchen team! Good quality home made most cooked on the premises. And reasonable prices. What more can you ask for.

Excellent gluten free options. Good choice of dishes with knowledge and friendly staff. We were a booking of 4 adults and 1 child. We arrived early for our booking which was no problem. All the food arrived at the same time and was hot and delicious. The gluten free Salmon Tagliatelle was excellent as was the Mariola which I had with a glass of house red, again very good. Will return again - 5 stars!

The Bell Inn

Our little group of three stopped at this pub for lunch after sightseeing in the area and we were all delighted we did. The staff were excellent and friendly throughout our visit. The food is very good indeed. Our three meals were Sea Bass, Lamb Shank and Cod and Chips and all three were delicious and served in very generous portions. The bar is welcoming and there is a separate dining area. The bill for our three meals two lime and sodas and a water was £48.70 which was remarkable value for the food we had. The pub only charges £1 for the lime and soda so for a driver like me that's remarkable these days. If in the area all three of us heartily recommend this pub.

Dog & Doublet Inn

Rooms: Stayed on the ground floor (disabled access). Lovely clean room, great size. Lovely breakfast and great service. They just need to unblock the shower drain. Would recommend.

I can't believe that this was the first time we'd been here. Great pub. The barman was lovely. Really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Bengal Lounge

This food is so good. They catered to my family members with spicy taste and more mild taste. I appreciate their effort, the food was authentic and cooked well. Place was clean and again the staff was friendly. Good price as well, will come again and recommend to others, (chicken tikka biryani and garlic naan I'd recommend).

Timmys Stafford

Had a takeaway from here last night for first time. Food arrived still piping hot which wasn't expected with the road works everywhere. I ordered one of their smashed burgers and my husband had a pizza, both really tasty with loads of flavour and we also tried the potato tots and suprised how many we got it was a good job I didn't order a side of chips as would of never had the room, potato tots were really nice and everything packaged well. Will defo be ordering again.

Kennys Sports Bar

I enjoyed a few drinks with my daughter and her partner watching some footy, good service and atmosphere, I'm sure I'll be back when visiting my daughter.

La Casa Italian

It is a brilliant way to spend time relaxing and eating in a splendid atmosphere. The food was hot, flavoursome, and presented well. The table service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend this establishment.

Went in for light lunch, plenty of choice from sandwiches to hotfood. No 3 serve breakfast, lunch and evening meals. You can book for afternoon tea. Premises licenced if you don't want a tea or coffee. Pleasant employees and prices aren't too bad.

The Tap Bar & Restaurant

Great to have this place as a pub. Great too that Ed is running it; he's a great landlord. Didn't stay for any food although I believe that may be available. It's a pub, not a restaurant so expect a vibrant pub atmosphere, decent beer selection and decent locals. No steak knives on view. Sports on TV. 3 dart boards. Pool room. Snug. Large outside smoking area with additional covered seating area for the rainy British summer.

Zizzi - Stafford

We had a great time at Zizzis Stafford. Our server Jessica was great and really lovely. The restaurant was super busy but that didn’t stop Jessica from giving us the best service. Food was great as always, really warm and tasty. Love zizzis always.

The Royal Oak

There was 10 of us tonight to eat in the restaurant and it was a lovely meal...did not wait to long either and all our meals were all brought out together...and the staff are always polite and friendly..

McDonald's

We’ve never been to this McDonald’s before, but felt it was an exceptionally clean and comfortable McDonalds.
The customer service and attentiveness received from Tina was a highlight. Don’t think I’ve ever had service like that in a McDonald’s and she’s superb at it.

Greyhound Inn

Visited our Daughter & Grandson and their partner’s for an overnight stay. Went in after being turned away from one pub because we had our dog with us. Went here and what a find. Dog friendly and even better cask ales.A very friendly pub. Great selection of beers.Will be definitely going back next time we stay over in Stafford?

The Bradford Arms

Just had lovely food at the Bradford arms Wheaton Aston. Service was prompt and polite. Food hot, home cooked and tasty. Very quiet pub that everyone in the area should try.

Clifford Arms

Nice food and pleasant service but the cocktails they were very plain with no frills or fruit, just the liquid. The chicken pasanda was a bit bland but the ham salad and lasagne were very nice. Yes, we would visit again but be more choosy about the drinks and food.

Barley Mow - Pub & Grill

Went with my daughter to the wackey a lovely young lady called Mollie always greets us with the warmest of smiles. She is so friendly and helpful can't do enough for you and my daughter absolutely adore her she is a credit to your establishment!

The Yard Stafford

Popped in with some friends after work for some food. Amazing service and even better food! We took use of the small plates option as the variety meant there was something for everyone. The Bombay wings were the stand out!

The Holly Bush at Salt

The food was astounding, started with garlic and stilton mushrooms which was a giant helping of mushrooms. my main was the pork belly with cabbage and mash which was cooked perfectly, and as I was full I had an assortment of icecreams and sorbet which tasted wonderful to clean my pallet. my only issue I the area we ate was it was rather dark and hard to see what we were eating.

Golden Gate

My family have been using this place since I was a teen in the 90s. Thought I'd go back to see what it's like now. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent, piping hot and tasty. Thank you ?

Red Lion Farm Ice cream & cake Shop

A great place to take the children, not only delicious ice cream and cakes, but free to walk around and see the farm animals up close. You can feed most of them too with the food bags for only £1 each from the cafe.

The Kings Arms

Quaint little boozer with a cracking beer garden. Perfect for a pre match beer if your heading round the corner to Stafford Rangers FC. Was a BBQ on offer that smelt lovely.

Britannia Fish Bar

Good quality chippy, everything you would expect. Plenty of staff on busy times but can still be a short wait on a Friday evening.

Vegetarian options: Some good veggie options, we usually have onion rings or the battered mushrooms with chips.

Trudie’s Sweet Shop

I absolutely love it here! The staff are so helpful and if you follow a specific diet like gluten free, all of the sweets are labelled which one's are gluten free or not! There are a lot of different options and the one's we chose were all fresh and tasted amazing. They even have ice cream from a local ice cream farm which tasted incredible! Will definitely be visiting again

Even with putting in a special request on how to cook a particular item they followerd my request and it was spot on definitely recommend this place and the prices are very reasonable

Asda Living Stafford

Friendly store, 2 floors with a escalator and lift. Free parking with ample spaces. Front of store offers disability and mother & baby dedicated spaces.
Store has a cafe, as well as George clothing, with changing rooms, George home, electricals, toys, books, cards and a seasonal section - Garden, Christmas etc.
The retail park can get really busy which can cause queueing when exiting.

I’ve tried many Chinese takeouts around West Midlands and this is by far the best I’ve ordered from - the food is always delicious and arrives quickly with friendly service from the server over the phone and delivery driver! Looking forward to my next Friday night takeout!
