Cedar Tree House, 5 Wilmslow Rd, CheadleIt's a family run restaurant where the food is the highlight. We ordered the sharing plate for two and it was super delicious. The hummus is fresh, the meat is amazing, and make sure to order spicy rice. It's not spicy, just gives you a bit of zing! I will surely come back for another food.

8 High St, Cheadle, Stoke-on-TrentOur favourite Indian restaurant in the area, we always do a takeout order when we're nearby. Still working our way through the menu, but the peshawari naan is a perennial favourite. Large portions and great value, highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Any dish on the menu can be made veggie friendly.
Parking: Very limited on-street parking, there's a parking lot pretty close by.

Prego Pizza
152 Stockport Rd, CheadleI tried this takeaway for the first time last night. Ordering was easy and delivery was super fast, and the delivery guy was lovely. Had a large 14” ham and mushroom pizza with fries and a bottled drink. It was really hot and it was loaded with toppings and there were loads of fries too. In all honesty it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had and it cost a fraction of what Dominoes charges too. So they’ve got a customer for life here. Thanks Prego!

Amazing Value and Really Delicious too!!
We have been going to The Goldfish Bowl for Takeaway for years and it’s always been our favourite place in Cheadle.
The staff are always welcoming, well dressed, and super friendly.
With an abundance of food choices in and around the town, We always choose The Goldfish Bowl as We have never had a bad experience yet.
Congratulations to everyone who works at this amazing asset to our local town.

Although they have disabled toilets, they are impossible to get to in a wheelchair due to a couple of tight corners and a table placed in the way.
Wheelchair accessibility: Steps at the back from the car park. You can get in the front but getting around inside is difficult to impossible in places. No wheelchair access to disabled toilets.

The owner was polite and respectful along with his employees.
We went for the recommended Mix Donner on Chips along with their signature Spicy Chicken Burger meal.
Both were reasonably priced and tasted excellent. Food was freshly prepared, and they were good size portions.
Small shop with big taste, no hand washing facilities nor was there any seating, we had to stand and eat which wasn't convenient but the service and food made up for that.
Do give it a go when passing through Gatley, Cheadle

I looked around for a worthy plaque for award in service to customer but amazed that none around.....Costa you have to send them a worthy notice. Sadagar Balti Restaurant
43-45 Church Rd, Gatley, CheadleI recently ordered takeaway from Sadagar, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The food was exceptional, from the vibrant flavors to the generous portions. The Butter Chicken was perfectly spiced, creamy, and full of authentic flavors, while the Biryani was aromatic, with tender pieces of chicken and just the right amount of heat.
The packaging was excellent—everything arrived hot and fresh, with no spillage or sogginess, which can often be a concern with takeout. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth pickup process. Overall, Sadagar delivered a true taste of India, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again soon. Highly recommended!

The Original Taste

- Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice.
- Special curry and fried rice
- Special fried rice and fried mushrooms.
Each meal was tasty, of good quality and generous sized portions. The sweet and sour chicken pieces were big and juicy with just a thin layer of batter and plenty of sauce that contained all the usual bits and pieces.
I ordered at the counter. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I look forward to returning!

Royal Cres, CheadleYeah, it's a great place for a family occasion, plenty of free parking. Lovely inside, the food was great, and the staff were attentive as well. Little bit expensive but isn't everywhere these days. Good choice on the menu as well.
Parking: Free parking and plenty of it, just make sure you put the reg in on arrival.

Bellini's Italian Restaurant
7 Gatley Rd, CheadleI think I have only been here once before, about 40 years ago! Casta, Booth and Jorvic treated us for cat sitting while they toured Northern Spain. Full range of typical Italian food. I had very tender ribs to start. Shared a four seasons pizza, again many years since having one of these. I rarely visit Italian as the boss can cook these dishes at home but well worth giving it a go. Especially if somebody else is treating you. Large L shaped lower floor with even more seating upstairs. Good wine selection and good service.

Small / medium sized portions of rice (could of done with an extra portion between two of us), curry's were quite good, starter portion included something that was described as 'chicken strips' but was in fact more like shredded chicken pieces, good sized portion for a starter though. Peshwari naan bread was great. The order online asked if wanted salad, ticked yes for two dishes - no salad included & same with the yoghurt, - no yoghurt.
Overall quite good, ordered far too much though.

Either whenever I order, or go in to collect, the staff and delivery drivers have always been reslly friendly, and always early whenever it’s been ordered.Cannot recommend this place enough.
