tried tonight for the first time. amazing donner & chicken meat, chips tasted amazing too, fish lovely and fresh. Halloumi fitter was okay, could of done with a thicker slice and would of perfer it to be cooked fresh as the halloumi wasnt soft and warm like it is when just cooked. We waited quite a while for our food but the women was by her self and shop full of customers, so she did us a large mixed donner instead of our small. Definitely coming back to try the battered chocolate bars & the veg samosas ! thank you for the great food tonight

Thai Marina Restaurant

Very attractive restaurant on a pretty waterfront. Thai food is my favourite cuisine, and this was excellent, really tasty and fresh. Both my husband and I would strongly recommend.

I was I'm Burton on Trent to visit my husband who's away briefly... and I kept looking for a nice coffee shop that does vegan, gluten free options. And finally I found here! It was an oasis of calm, lovely vibes, kind staff (hugely apologetic for not having some ingredients) - I only wish I'd discovered it at the start of my visit. I highly recommend it.

A party of 12 went to celebrate a birthday, we were all made very welcome shown to our table, waitress very attentive, food was excellent, atmosphere very nice, it was a good night

I’m going to keep it short, sweet and simple reviewing this place.
If you ever wanted a Desi-Breakfast, just like your mother/sister makes, literally, then this is a place I highly recommend you visit.
It’s a very small and compact cafe, has about 3-4 tables. But the service and preparation by the two sisters I believe, is very heartwarming and as if you were one of their own.
The wife and I tried the Classic Desi Breakfast with Paratha, Chana Dhall and an Omelette and a Chai O’clock Special with Puri and Halwa (rice or semolina paste that has a gelatinous, smooth texture similar to pudding) this wonderfully compliments the Puri.
Both breakfasts were freshly prepared, piping hot and full of flavour and delicious.
Other subcontinental street foods are also available there, all at a very reasonable and very affordable prices.
Worth a visit if you’re in the area and feeling a bit peckish .

Horse Shoe Inn

Been for a family Mother’s Day meal, very enjoyable, food is lovely, service is brilliant, very efficient. Landlord and landlady very welcoming and friendly, great people, nothing was too much trouble and they were busy. Garden needs a good tidy up and a little TLC but children’s play area is great for kids, we will definitely be visiting again. Our new local Thank you very much and see you soon.

I often come here with my mother and we have a nice time relaxing outside whilst having a coffee and sometimes a bit of lunch. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food and drinks as well, which is great when you have little kids.

The Crown Inn

Even though it was a busy Sunday lunch, the staff found us a table, the service was fast and the food fresh and really good quality. The bar had some really good real ales and were kept to a good standard, definitely recommend for food.

Used the drive through after work on Sunday evening just after 7pm, car park full,so busy,lovely happy voice on the intercom took the order,very bubbly young lady,busy at the next hatch,order done in 5 minutes, pleasant young man too,best milk shake I've ever had,love the double big mac,please keep it,well done guys great service tonight ?

Plough Inn

Popped in Monday evening & best pint of pedigree I've ever had and better still happy staff and was greeted which you don't get much nowadays . Was quite quiet but it is January but will be back at weekend for some more pedigree. Keep up the excellent work !

The Dog

Probably one of the friendliest pubs I've ever visited. Had a warm welcome the second I walked in and left. Super staff and landlord and pubs cosy and clean. Good clientele too.

Nice old fashioned pub, friendly staff, book exchange is a great idea, plenty of different drinks, especially beers and ales, to choose from, but could do with a better selection of standard shelf drinks, some are pricey and not recognisable brands

Just love it!!! A great find and we will go back again and again. Superb beer, great staff, cute, small, intimate - love it ! and so handy for the railway station too !

this place is great if you want to lose weight. the way it works is you eat here then for several days after everything comes out.... whether you like it or not. With this cost of living crisis for the price of a ruby you could save yourself thousands in expensive weight loss treatments and operations. A member of my family has been very very ill after eating here so be warned folks. @Baltitowers I could stand to lose a few stone.... can you book me in for one of your chicken tikkas please!

Skinny Kitten Cafe

Really lovely little cafe. Had lunch here whilst visiting a spa nearby. Lovely food and atmosphere. Lots of really different things on the menu to your run of the mill stuff and although I didn't try one the cakes looked amazing.

Stapenhill Cafe

What a gem! This place is spotless clean and service is fast and friendly. Only had a sausage sandwich and a cuppa, but the English breakfast everyone else was eating looked excellent and lots of it too

Eaten here quite a few times while out shopping in Burton.

It's a lovely place to have break and enjoy some excellent food, the tapas is amazing, I think we've nearly worked our way through all the dishes.

The service is always superb and there are plenty of gluten free options.

99 Station Street

Have been here a few times for evening meals. However, the latest visit was for sunday dinner. We enjoyed the food immensely. Opting for 3 courses and wine. I honestly can't see why you would go to a carvery when for a little mor money you can have high quality food with great service. When we went it was very quiet and I am hopeful that it was just a side effect of the England euros match. Will definitely go again

This is our favourite place to visit in Burton, they never fail on service and food its our go to place where we are treated respectfully authentically and genuinely, not like the fake 'friendliness' and 'generosity' you see in some other takeaways.

We come every Saturday with our dog Charlie and the staff are so friendly. Service with a smile and efficient. Would recommend to all to start their Saturday off in the right way!

Great pub we popped in for a drink on a Monday evening as we were staying near by. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Great service at the bar and comfortable surroundings. Highly recommend a drink in there if your passing.

Alrewas Fryer

I had the most amazing Pork Gyro from Alrewas Fryer, it was delicious and the service from Alex and his team is always friendly and welcoming. I took my take-away a few steps down the road to eat at the nearby canal which had beautiful views.
