A spotlessly clean shop selling really nice fish and chips. Served by efficient and friendly staff, who shared a joke whilst remaining professional. I will definitely return.

Squires Bar Wombwell

Wanted to have lunch just to try a new place, but unfortunately they don't make food, it's a pity though because they have a beautiful setup, better than other bars around that

Premier Inn Barnsley (Dearne Valley) hotel

Usual Premier Inn experience, easy booking on line, excellent room, bed & desk staff, good parking. Food next door at restaurant is mediocre at best. £10/adult for buffet breakfast is no longer good value. Eat elsewhere if you can.

Anglers Rest

A absolutely cracking little pub best I've ever been in quality drinks at very reasonable prices the landlord and landlady are very friendly and very good people 10 out of 10 for entertainment

The Horseshoe - JD Wetherspoon

Unsurprisingly empty today, probably because of the weather, which is freezing cold. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. Clean and tidy.

Parking: Limited parking at the front. Mainly disabled parking, but plenty of room across the road on George street.
Great place to meet up with friends...

Stopped here totally ad-hoc one night after driving past _so glad I did. Best Tai food I've eaten outside Asia _ second to none!!!!! 5 stars in all departments.

I think the menu set out is perfect. It's tells me what I can n can't have. The food is A class. Definitely going again

Dietary restrictions: I'm a coeliac. The menu is set out perfectly. I cam see what's n the dish I want which is a big plus for me as not alot of places cater for my requirements. Thank you so much

This place needs a million stars.
The whole family are wonderful and just a delight to be around.

The pizza is next to nothing the absolute best I’ve ever had in my life. We have eaten pizza all around the world, I don’t know what he does but it involves passion, love and pure flavour.

The best pizza pie in the UK. Wouldn’t order anywhere else. Don’t care for the wait whether it’s 10 minutes or two hours. Well worth it, pure quality.
Some of you folk moaning about an hour wait, try New York or LA, a standard waiting time at a pizzeria over there is 2 hours and that’s in store.
Good things come to those who wait.

Sea Birds Fish & Chips

Tonight my wife was craving fish and chips at 10pm. That place was the only one open at that time. I ordered medium fish and chips for £6.99. I was expecting old fish reheated for my late order. I was pleasantly surprised. It was freshly cooked , a big portion which fed us both really. Strongly recommend! Delicious fish and chips! Couldn't ask for more. I will be back.

Balti Palace Wombwell

Great place to get a great meal. Service is very,very good. Staff are very friendly. The food is top notch. Very clean restaurant. A very good 5 star place.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes all on the ground floor, wide doors too.

Pizza Top

Whenever we visit from the Isle of Wight this is our go to place, staff are great food is always fresh and good sized portions and there's a fantastic variety. We can also get just eat delivery to the premier in near corton wood so big win !

Of course they make good fried chicken but they also make good: spicy wings, burgers, chicken fillet burger (real whole chicken breast not an oversized chicken nugget on bread), and boneless chicken family meal is a great deal. They have their own app and you can sometimes get 10% off.

Wombwell Charcoal Grill

This place was recommended to me by my sister and I have to say that it was worth it. The service is great and so helpful and serve you with a smile. The food is fresh and delicious.
