The Lodge Bar, Grill & Restaurant
Bucklegrove Caravan Park, Wells Rd, Rodney Stoke, CheddarGreat friendly bar the food is reasonable. The couple who are running it are very friendly and will do anything to make you feel welcome ar there bar. I go there quite regularly as it's not to far to drive to and I've always had a good time there

The Westbury Inn
Westbury-sub-Mendip, WellsThis is a decent family pub serving good food and excellent ales. The pies are Priddy Good Pies that are local to the area, and packed full of meat (highly recommended!). The pub is always clean and the service friendly and attentive. A traditional old pub, with a lovely atmosphere - a pleasure to visit.
Vegetarian options: There were at least two vegetarian options, which we thought was impressive.
Kid-friendliness: Families are very welcome here.
