Loved our meal here, food was excellent, we had starters mains and son had a pudding everything was tasty good portions and piping hot, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all really friendly and our dog was more than welcomed he loved all the fuss. Would return when back in the area

The litton hotel was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in the area here’s why;

The room - the room was absolutely beautiful. The rustic chic vibes matched the aesthetic of the building and environment. Everything was spotless clean. Fantastic rainfall shower the hotel also provided us with robes and slippers. Great attention to detail. The toiletries were also local to the area and luxurious. Although there is a bar downstairs our room was silent at night and made for an excellent sleep.

The food - the food was super. Tasty and well made. Me and my partner both had steak with peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked as per our request and the sauce was creamy. We also indulged in an after dinner treat via the Nutella doughnuts and again 5 stars fantastic. The alcoholic drinks were also something to comment on as again we both enjoys our strawberry daiquiri's. We also enjoyed our breakfast the following morning with a Selection of continental elements such as fresh fruit and yougurt followed with granola and jams not to forget to cooked breakfast. Myself I’m a picky eater and again the staff were exceptional when I made requests during our dining with them.

The staff - as per the note in the room the staff really will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Quick service at the bar with a great atmosphere even if u wanted to just pop in for drinks. We ordered room service a couple times and again the staff were quick and ready to please with a great can do attitude to any request. Called us upon booking to ask if we had any special requirements and to thank us for our booking which was a great touch.

I can’t fully describe and appreciate how great our unplanned night away was at the Lutton but I’d definitely recommend it to others and visit again.

I've been coming here as the generations change, and even the family that runs it (two sisters now) change their own circumstances.

It has been consistently clean and harmonious, providing generous servings of food, ale in excellent condition and served with amiability.

I just wish it was in walking distance.

Absolutely amazing food! Been here three times now and it never disappoints. Food tastes delicious and the presentation is wonderful. The staff are so friendly too and really go the extra mile to care for you. Huge thanks to Rohit for the excellent service

I’ve been in Radstock drop of my son for a birthday party so i decided just walk in to Athena asked if we can eat in or must be booked with advance and nice waitress told us they are full book but went ask on the back and told us we can stay by 7.30 what was great for us we needed go anyway before 7pm.

The place is small but so nice , service so nice and polite and good delicious ? definitely will be back but this time with booking before.

They don’t have car park however if you go on proper jober shop/ subway you can have 2hrs free car park and Athena is just 3minutes walk from parking.

Drove past this place on the way to Glastonbury and thought, I want to go back and go inside there! So beautiful from the outside. Was welcomed with opened arms despite coming in an hour before closing. Derek the owner is amazing, he’s so funny and a great host. Brilliant drink recommendations, funny chat and the locals are also a laugh. So polite, old school vibe and the toilets are lovely and clean too. Love it here, will be back :) Emma x

First time there for sisters birthday, fantastic service, friendly staff, and the food was top quality! However, my only major disappointment was that with a table of 14 people, after we had finished our meal, we were told that the total bill wasn't allowed to be split. Of course not everyone carries cash!

So one person had to pay for everyone via card and with what cash people had on them, which wasn't fair, and had to chase getting the remaining cash from people the next day. I've never been to a restaurant who refuses to split the bill between different paying families, especially with the total that was being spent. I have to give a 3 for that because it caused a big headache and made making payments very frustrating as we had to do all the maths on the restaurants behalf.

The food however was great, a lot of people had different things and everyone really enjoyed the food. The staff were also really friendly and attentive to the person who's birthday it was, and as there was a young child the staff being engaging.

We popped in here whilst visiting Radstock for the day and boy we were so pleased we did. They didn't have a table immediately available but offered to keep us the next free one. The staff including the owner were so helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. We had a toastie sandwich and a baked potato, both came with a lovely fresh salad and were very tasty. Large portions and reasonably priced. Would recommend this cafe highly and I'm just sad we won't be able to return in the near future.

The food was delicious. Although the service was slow. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our starters. This was due to a full restaurant all ordering at the same time. The front of house staff were excellent and very attentive. It was obvious soon after ordering that the Chef and kitchen staff were going to be overwhelmed by the amount of food orders being submitted. And they were …. Hence our long wait. My only recommendation is to manage the bookings to enable the kitchen staff to cook and deliver food within a reasonable timeframe.

I took the kids on a walk and kids being kids they needed the facilities! So we popped in for some lunch and drinks, 3 rolls, 3 drinks and 3 bags of crisps was £13, very very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly

I popped in on the off chance for a cheeky cider and some food. The place was very busy, and I didn't have a reservation. But John the Landlord sorted me out with a little table. I order the smoked haddock with chive mash and a poached egg on top. It was absolutely amazing. I was so glad not to see your traditional pub menu. The food was excellent and so was the service. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend The Bell Inn, especially if you want something traditional and hearty that isn't just burgers and steaks. Although they do do burgers and steaks. I can't wait to return again. Thanks John and thanks the Bell Inn team.

Ordered from Just Eat tonight and asked for a delivery at 10.30- it arrived at 10.30 on the dot! We had the mixed chicken shish and lamb doner, cheesy chips, fried chicken and coleslaw. It came with loads of fresh salad (including delicious raw onion) and a very tasty yoghurt dip. The coleslaw was a lot nicer (creamier and less sharp) than a lot of take outs. The meat is very good quality and the chicken is moist unlike some others! Really good choice of meals for a delivery service as well.
