109 High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockNice cafe, visited on a Sunday morning, did seem a little expensive but to be honest it’s probably not their fault - more likely due to wage/CPI inflation. Nice location by the little stream. Also nice to see people out and about on the high street.

Crossways Tavern
Redfield Rd, Midsomer Norton, RadstockPlay darts here and pop in every now and then for a drink. Always a laugh and lovely beer. Great choice of drinks and the bar staff are friendly and quite entertaining (Dan ?) the landlord and lady are very welcoming and lovely people.Parking: 10 or so parking spaces but no need to bring your car if you're having a few beers!! Side street parking is normally possible.

Unit 1&2, The Hollies, High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockWe popped in for coffee with my son after nursery, the staff behind the till went above and beyond for my little one, he asked for some milk so they put chocolate dusting on top with a straw and made a real fuss of him. They are always friendly and have smiles on their faces during work which is something you rarely see these days. Customer service 5*

The White Hart
7 The Island, Midsomer Norton, RadstockWow, this place is improving at a rate of knots. I last went here about a year ago and it was a dismal local dive. Today, it was lively, friendly and had better beer on. It now has a river terrace where the river runs beneath. Will definitely be going back, probably tonight, provided they don't crank up the music to normal Midsomer Norton 'ear damage' volumes.

Thought a pizza would be nice, but didn't expect this to be the best pizza that we have had for years! Delicious pizza and delivery driver was friendly! Highly recommend if staying in local.
