Holly House Tea Rooms is situated further up Cheddar Gorge towards the attractions. The menu offers a good selection, and the café sells teapots in the window. The walls feature fascinating photos of old Cheddar Gorge. The staff are really nice, and the cakes are delicious. The café is dog-friendly and worth a visit. The tea rooms have an amazing variety of gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options, not at a pricey premium. The cream tea was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended. The café is known for its famous Cheddar Cheese ice creams. When visitors from Poland wanted to try them, the owners opened the place up especially for them and treated them to the cheese ice creams. The café is a lovely, reasonably priced little spot. The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable, considering the café is just 3 minutes walking distance from the entrance to the main cave. Highly recommended.
