11 Salmon Parade, BridgwaterI love this restaurant. Polish foods are, in my experience, some of the best from the continent. I love the array of flavours and Chata certainly delivers on this. The rye soup is a particular favourite of mine. It is great value for money there too.

Church Rd, North Newton, BridgwaterWe are there twice during our long week end in Somerset. The food we had was lovely. Just two small things - the restaurant was really cold one evening. Also can I suggest that the staff wear some that says they work there? Having said that all of the staff that we spoke to - a lady with long hair, a chap into formula 1, young guys in tracksuits and a young blond lady were really attentive and helpful. I have a feeling that they may be new owners. I wish you the best of luck. If you are in the area go in and support them.

I visited early, so it was quiet. There was only one person serving, so it was a little slow.
The latte and Bacon Butty were nice, although I was surprised to get a plate with significant chips that should clearly have been thrown away.
It is very spacious downstairs and a lovely upstairs also with outdoor seating.

Wembdon Rd, BridgwaterI used to love this pub and would never have a bad meal however recently the quality has been declining as I feel something has maybe changed in the kitchen. While the prices are great and very affordable. The food is not at the standard that it previously was at with hard chewy tasteless flatbreads scrappy bits of salad, misleading images, small fry portions, minimal fresh salad and a hard burnt egg.

I came across this from Google and I'm glad I did. We are even planning a return visit, even though it's 45 minutes away. The staff were lovely, so welcoming and the food was very good, portion sizes were generous and it was very reasonable priced! I would call it a hidden gem! Can't wait to revisit.

My partner and I stopped in late about an hour before close and the staff kindly made up takeaway portions for our order, adding in a couple of extra little surprises as a gift. It was such a treat after a long day and as a random stop on our longish drive home. The achari chicken was my favorite selection. Tried it on a whim and the sauce was *chef’s kiss* so good. Such a lovely balance of salt, acid, spice, coriander, lime, onion, and so many other flavors. Savory and delicious. And the chicken chunks were large, and must have been caringly cut as they had none of the funny little bits of bouncy material chicken can sometimes surprise you with. My sweet husband wasn’t looking to try anything new tonight and even he thought the sauce was delicious after finally succumbing to my offers to let him try it. I popped back in for a bottle of soda to drink with a handful of change and the man helping us generously accepted what I had rather than having me pop out to the car to get the few extra coins. The feeling of generosity, humanity, and hospitality this place left me with, even end of night on a Sunday, was next level and is something you’d never get at a chain. Even if you have an eater with you who wants something familiar, they offer basic chicken strips and chips and those left my fussier eater a happy camper. The decor inside is classy and cozy; I hope next time we aren’t en route on a drive and might get a chance to eat in. :)

I understand that the Pub itself is no longer open but I might be incorrect but the lady in the tea room told me she is on Facebook and I could search her under the pub name..extremely pleasant little tea room with indoor and outdoor seating. Car parking just outside and a bike rack available. Range of homemade cake and a menu covering breakfast and lunch. Very good coffee too! Full disability access throughout and access to toilet. Well worth a stop and I will visit again. Plenty of lovely views and extremely helpful people. Be aware it’s off a quite busy road if you are visiting with children. Dog friendly premises. Definitely recommend

The, Broadway, BridgwaterAs the breakfast at our hotel was quite expensive popped in to this cafe as we know the food is usually good. They had an offer on for a bacon butty plus a drink for £3 each so tried ordering two. Had paid the bill when we noticed one butty was missing. On asking we were given it FOC. 3 rashers of bacon in a nice soft roll was a good start to the morning as we are not normally big eaters.

Kilve, BridgwaterLovely pub and B&B, great for weekends or wedding nights (St Audries nearby is a popular wedding venue). The rooms were decent and the bathroom had a lovely roll top bathtub. Imagine my joy when I was assured I could have anything on the menu as a gluten free option all prepared fresh and away from any gluten. Even had gluten free vinegar! Sea Ln, BridgwaterThis feels like a little secret tucked away down a country lane...when you arrive there is plenty of parking and it will feel a little like you are entering someone's back garden but it is clearly signposted and welcoming. Lots of outdoor seating, but we chose to order to take away as it was a bit chilly.
You make your choice from the board, ring the bell, out comes the owner, they take cards which is helpful. He brought all the food out to the car for us which was so kind ( I'm not sure he'd manage to do that if it was a busier time, but a kind thing to do for us whilst it was quiet)
The food was delicious..the scones were incredible, light as a feather.
The sandwiches yummy, great bread, proper butter we chose ham and cheese the cheese was something else ? ?
All our drinks were nice and hot, good coffee too.
Can't fault..please don't turn up expecting indoor seating and China teacups..this is very good quality food the menu is limited and an excellent cream tea all served in take away boxes, with plenty of seating in a nature filled garden (or to take away) very dog friendly too ?

Enmore Rd, BridgwaterWe had the Sunday lunch and can honestly say it was possibly the best we have ever had at a carvery, I had the beef and it was so perfectly cooked and my partner had the pork which he enjoyed immensely. Everything was cooked to perfection and we couldn’t have asked for more plus the chocolate fudge cake dessert was true chocolate heaven! The staff are incredibly welcoming and can’t do enough to help but not overbearing, the car park has plenty of room but we do realise it books up very quickly and so it’s best to phone ahead and reserve a table. We will most definitely return here again in the future and can highly recommend it as one of the best Sunday lunches in Somerset.

30 Westonzoyland Rd, BridgwaterFriendly staff and owner cooked the most amazing battered chips. Curry sauce was very tasty too! Not good, amazing!!!
Parking: Spaces off road
Kid-friendliness: Very lovely to myself and my child. Very chatty friendly place. They freshly made battered chips for my daughter. She said ‘They are not good, they are amazing!’ We tracked the place down to get battered chips!!! Huge portion and perfectly cooked :) Thankyou to the owner and lady serving!
