The Almshouse Tea Shop
The Square, AxbridgeThe Almshouse tearoom kindly hosted my baby shower upstairs in their beautiful vaulted room. The tea room has such a lovely atmosphere and Linda and team were incredibly organised with the pre-ordered food. Everything about the food was perfect, such a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and lovely fluffy scones. Looking forward to returning again for another slice of Oreo cake. Thank you for such a fabulous afternoon.

The White Hart
Old Coach Rd, Cross, AxbridgePopped in for a pint on Sunday. Great old school pub. Just two ales on, Gem and Tribute (both now St Austell brews). We didn't eat but the food we saw coming out looked really nice.
Very friendly landlords. Would recommend that you give it a try. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays I think.

The Lamb Inn
The Square, AxbridgeA fairly typical posh English pub in the modern style. It's a beautiful old building and the service was excellent. The food was really good too, but really bloody expensive, especially if you're used to Spanish prices like we are.

Wheatsheaf Inn
Stone Allerton, AxbridgeHad arrived too early to our holiday cottage and this place was just a few minutes away so we called in for lunch.
We had the cheese platter and fish platter and were blown away by the quality of it, was so so good as was the service from the super lovely lady that served us and talked to us about what we were eating.
This place is an absolute gem and perfect for fish lovers, 100% recommended visiting.

The Lamb At Weare
Turnpike Rd, Lower Weare, AxbridgeWhen we walked in we did think it was closed but the landlord welcomed us warmly and we had beautiful food. The cottage pie is to die for, the "small" scampi and chips was huge. Reasonable prices and well worth a visit ❤️ will return if we are in the area again.

The Oakhouse Hotel & Restaurant
The Square, AxbridgeRe-open with new owners and back to being a really good, friendly and welcoming pub. Even better now that the summer nights are coming - we can sit out in the sunshine with a beer again!
