Hignetts is a family firm running a business in the spirit of the shops I remember from childhood - hugely helpful and polite, offering highest quality traditional butchery and groceries, with much fine local seasonal produce including wimberries and locally raised meat. Fine home-produced Scotch eggs and pies in variiety.Can't reccomend too highly.
An amazing shop with the best custard slices in the country. Genuinely, only try them if your OK with having an addiction added to your life. They're that good. Also amazing staff and the pretty much everything on there is delicious.

Great quality fresh food that is mainly locally sourced! Perfect for grocery shopping and can support local businesses in the area! Friendly staff and delicious home baked cakes too! High quality meat and vegetables! Would recommend.
