The Queen's Head

This is currently our favourite place to eat. Never had a problem booking and there are 2 car parks so no problem parking. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. There is so much to choose from and the specials are always excellent.

Burger King

Been visiting this store for years and not once have I been let down. Top service! Top staff! Top food! Manager and staff are extremely helpful with a smile on faces. Great to see ?

Simla Tandoori Restaurant

Over the past month or so we have been getting a takeaway from Simla. I think we have had about six or seven and the meals have never disappointed. They are delicious. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Simla has become our go to Tandoori takeaway. Highly recommended.

Star Kebab House

Ordered a small chicken kebab yesterday, the chicken was delicious, fresh and plenty of salad…. Naan bread was thick and good quality , not a skinny thing …..

White Lion

27.03.22 Called in lunchtime today with the family. Just Randomly looking for somewhere open to have something to eat as we were visiting Wellington for the day. It was quiet at the time, we were acknowledged by the young bar lady and invited to sit down somewhere and take a menu. Ordered the food and drinks. Didn’t take long and we were chatting anyway. Food was very nice served on hot plates too (nice touch) and excellent value for money, particularly the Sunday lunches at £4.50! Very pleased with the whole experience.

Greggs

An amazing coordinated happy team, with well stocked shelves, which serve quickly and efficiently to keep queuing to a minimum. Don't walk out if you see a few people waiting as it won't be long before you're served here! ?

Chico's

Popped into Chico's today as I was in Oswestry, got some chicken nuggets which were quite tasty.
Also bought an Oreo milkshake, that was really good!
Service was a little slow, but that isn't too bad.
Highly recommend the milkshakes there and the chicken nuggets!

Just a last one, their menu is pretty large too so there is plenty of options to fill your tummy with.

Grill Out

Brilliant food, service and prices, loads of selection and from what I've seen it's got good hygiene, would definitely recommend and a favourite of mine is the cookie dough selections ?

Parking: The business has no car park but there are a few side bits you can turn into while u run in and pickup or one or two which u can leave Ur car while u go inside to choose but it's luck of the dice if there free or not

Costa Coffee

Didn't have food just drinks the staff members were brilliant and polite 10/10Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately like most places I visit, people who suffer as a coeliac or gluten free don't have selections of these types of food, real shame a enjoy my coffee from costa.Wheelchair accessibility: With the assistance of a friend, partner or member of staff to hold door open, easily accessible. 10/10

Square View Noodle Bar & Chinese Restaurant

Takeaway is always lovely. Freshly cooked, hot and delicious. Delivered on time each time, a lot of times faster than expected. Usually have mushroom curry, sweet and sour king prawns and veg rice and that is plenty for two to share.

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Oswestry

Lovely experience as our first visit to Prezzo. Very attentive waitresses, nothing was too much trouble especially as it was quite busy for a Wednesday evening. Lovely food from start to finish, we left happy & full?

Ye Olde Boote Inn

Lovely pub and hotel
Stayed with a toddler so booked there larger room and it was perfect
Only issue was the shower was very slow not powerful at all
Otherwise lovely and clean perfect location

Oswestry Tandoori

If you fancy a curry, definitely the one to go to - gorgeous takeaway! One point worth mentioning is that the curry is stored in a sturdy plastic container, keeps the curry hot and contained. Speedy service and polite staff. They have a Loyalty Card too. Well worth it.

The Plaice

Excellent friendly service, great value for your money! Chicken Kebab off a spit in a large soft naan bread, salad & a potato fritter….£7.00 ? tasty & easily enough to feed two. The photo of my partially devoured exhibit doesn’t do it justice.

Pizza Bella

Absolutely fantastic! Thank you freshly cooked really tasty food. I collected and it was immaculately clean inside and the freshly prepared food in the chiller. Great friendly staff. highly recommend

Naz Eastern Eye

I had a minor issue previously which was more than sorted in my next order. This meal OMG I cannot express how good it was. After my starter I was full half way through the main, but I could not stop, it was that good, so back to licking the dish :)

Red Rose

Brilliant food. We went last night for my dad's birthday. We had the 4 course menu which is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes were huge. The food tasted delicious and the service was fab. We left with full tummies and even bought some leftovers back as too much to eat. . Will definitely be returning. Lots of people having takeaways restaurant relatively quiet definitely recommend to anyone wanting a tasty Indian meal.

Oswestry Kebab House

Brilliant service from the staff and the food was really nice to eat. I’ll go there more often. The double pepperoni pizza and chips are the best from that place.

Greyhound Inn

Excellent food, good olde British Fayre done very, very well. We had Sunday lunch and it was brilliant.Desserts were very yummy. Very well priced, portion sizes excellent and marvelous value. Great service, pleasant staff and will defo come again on our trips through mid wales. Well done Chef and owners.

Lovely relaxing Pub with amazing dining. Our food for 4 was all such high standard. Would totally recommend and we would go again.Vegetarian options: The do a wonderful Spicey Chickpea Veggie Burger.Parking: On the entrance to a very busy Junction on Netcliffe Bypass.

Oak Inn

One of the oldest pubs in Oswestry, lovely historical building and cosy, warm atmosphere on the inside.Fantastic true cask ales, great outdoors seating area, covered porch and just a proper true, great pub. Being opposite St. Oswalds church adds to it's special character and even better looking at it from St. Oswalds church grounds.The staff are so welcoming and friendly and so are the locals who frequent the Oak Inn.Thanks to you all for such an amazing pub and experience.Will be back and certainly recommend a visit to this pub to properly experience it all!

Ye Olde White Lion Inn

Lovely classic British pub. Peter the landlord and his wife are always very welcoming. The beer is great and a location worth visiting for a drink especially around Christmas.

I used to live in Weston Rhyn for 4 years and I’d never once been to this pub, moved out and tried it for the first time last night, and honestly it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had! We had a lovely friends night out and all had 3 courses and it was so cheap!! I had vegetable soup to start and I wasn’t sure what to expect… nicest vegetable soup I think I’ve ever tasted, it was so creamy, I could have easily eaten it for started, main and desert. I had the hanging halloumi for main, that was really nice, not too salty like some halloumi, and the chips were perfectly cooked, I even ate the salad on the hanging!! Then I finished with a trillionaire tart, beautiful!! Their menu has such a wide variety of mains and desserts. I even loved the fact they had a Korma for a curry choice, as not many places do that! A really really homely family run pub, hidden away that I would recommend to anyone!!

GOBOWEN'S Quality Fish and Chips

The owner looks after his customer very well. My chicken burger and chips was made pretty well. Good portion of chips. The prices are pretty cheap and reasonable as well. Glad I popped by. Not many eats outs around this area. I worked out it was four and this comes up top. Will pop by again.

The Prince's Place

My goto chippy. Friendly atmosphere, good range, very reasonable pricing. Been going for years and never disappointing. Couldn’t recommend enough for a good chip shop in Oswestry

Lee's Chinese Takeaway

Special fried rice was amazing, tasty chowmein, gorgeous chilli crispy beef too. Have to say the best Chinese takeaway in all of oswestry. Tried about 4 others and they were dreadful. Finally found my go too. I'd fully recommend this takeaway. Tasty and not salty or greasy. You guys have a new customer.

The Kings Head

Visited Oswestry to walk round market etc, found Kings Head as it said dog friendly, it is dog friendly and the food was really good. I had the chilli con carne with half chips half rice was great , well cooked and nice and fresh. Wife had the pie came with veg all good great value as well for fresh cooked food. Would definitely return if we back in the area

‘OH’ MY COD

In my opinion this chippy is one of my favorites in oswestry!
The food tastes great and the staff are amazing too.
Their professional, quick and straight to the point.

This chippy stands out because their chips are just another level.
This chippy is always my go to whenever I'm near the area.

I strongly recommend the kebabs from.here or the donner meat and chips.

Visited the gift shop. Excellent range of lovely gifts and cards. I was helped to choose a gift by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable lady yesterday.Will definitely be back.

The George Hotel

Black Lion

Great local pub, great landlord and landlady Terry and Lacy and the staff are friendly too.Warm welcome and lovely decorated inside and out.Drinks, ales and Guinness are great and competitively priced.Thanks for a lovely first time experience and will be back no doubt.

Salop Fish Bar

Extremely spacious area but also cozy and admirable, best chips in oswestry by miles, always fresh as can be, excellent service from the young lad at the counter and the waitress that served us. Brilliant little small business, deserves more attention 10/10

Chirk Truck Stop

Plenty of space for parking. Nice facilities. Food was really nice, plenty of choice. Between the 4 of us we had chicken curry, chicken burger, egg and chips and an all day breakfast and couldn't fault any of it. And it's reasonably priced.
