7 High St, Telford, NewportIt's always a bit of concern when you've booked a new place to eat with friends but I shouldn't have worried. Food was great. We particularly liked the combo option where you can chose 2 curry dishes, 2 smaller portions but it gives you the option to try something new and it was great and plentiful and hot. We are already planning another visit. Only thing table room a bit of squeeze as friends both 6 foot.

66 Upper Bar, NewportWe went for a birthday celebration last night and the place was buzzing. We have been before but once again it was brilliant. Staff were friendly and attentive, the selection was great and as always the food was amazing. Had the platter to share with naan and chips, great portion size and we all left very happy. Highly recommend

1 Newport Rd, Edgmond, NewportCame here for first time as staying in the area walking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating on arrival, the food came really fast and was phenomenal! The kind of pie you think about afterwards and measure all others against. The chips were really, really good! Would definitely come back here if visiting again.

3 High St, NewportSent my husband into this cafe to wait whilst I had a bit of retail therapy in Newport. This was a good move as he was more than happy with his bacon bap and coffee which meant that I could shop unhindered! In fact he was so comfortable sitting there that when I arrived back he treated us both to the Brocolli and Blue Cheese soup with a roll and a drink, it was yummy and piping hot! The cafe was tastefully decorated with interesting archaeological local finds displayed in cabinets. It was WARM in there, which is very important to me,and the staff are so friendly and welcoming, each customer was greeted and made to feel valued. It seems a lot of local people use it frequently which says it all. They operate a loyalty card system for hot drinks too. Nice clean toilet. The menu was quite different to other places, very tasty, everything looked delicious. But most of all, such a friendly and happy staff and nothing seemed too much trouble, we shall be back!

The Kings Head
Chetwynd End, NewportAttended recently for an after funeral wake for the first time in 20 years. Lovely friendly staff and even the pub dog (That don't normally like me) left me alone so that was good! Very reasonably priced drinks, the HPA was lovely and clean and crisp from the draught, the wake went very smoothly and we were very well accomodated. Some outdated furniture and could do with a spruce up, some of that decor was there 20 years ago!

72 High St, NewportEven though I don't eat meat, the food is delicious... I have veggie pizza and cheesy chips every weekend ❤️Top top top chefs. Best in Shropshire. All my friends eat the Raja's Special kebab. They say they would not eat anywhere else ?Vegetarian options: Good selection of toppings for the pizzas

68 Upper Bar, NewportWhat a lovely pub ..Heidi was amazing a real credit to the place made to feel incredibly welcome .We had a nervous doggy with us she made us and the dog reel relaxed and welcome even gave pooch a treat which she gladly excepted from her which was a first..Will definitely be recommended by us..Big thanks to Heidi your one special lady x

Ordered coffee for two as well as breakfast and it took a while to come. Had to chase up the coffee which came after the food which was a shame.

8baddleys, Newport10/10 food it’s our go to takeaway, always collect its a lot faster because they haven’t got a fleet of delivery drivers so if you order on a Friday or Saturday night don’t expect it within the hour but the food is always spot on

I’m surprised by some of the bad reviews as I’ve never had a problem. They always get my orders spot on, exactly how I asked for it. The prices are fair, delivery always within the hour. After placing my order today I thought to myself that I should have ordered some chocolate cake!! I couldn’t believe it when I saw a free slice of chocolate cake In the bag!! Happy days! Thanks

On first visit we noticed the decor was seriously needing spruced up and were worried we'd chosen the wrong place . The waitress was not very talkative or fluent in English but didn't at all come across rude, Just not very engaging. Our food arrived and we headed back to our temporary digs as we are working away from home at the moment. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our food, I gave 4 stars as It wasn't the best I've tried but the food itself was tasty.

Parking: Busy restaurant with not much parking space,probably about 30 spaces and it's always full.
