Main Rd, Norton in Hales, Market Drayton4th visit was for Sunday lunch and I was the designated driver for a change. Was so lovely to have lots of 0% wines to choose from and the white Muscat was delicious. Sunday lunches were superb, even at 6pm. Mum was thrilled she’d only had the small turkey as that would have been plenty even for the rest of us greedy monsters, but it meant she had room for desserts. My roast pork and chocolate delice were sublime, husbands roast beef and Bakewell were gorgeous (I tried both obviously) and all other guests enjoyed their meal, desserts, drinks and venue. Can’t wait to bring our spaniels here after a walk. Excellent community pub, so glad we found you! PS. I love the staff features on your social media!

Betton Mill, 1 Betton Rd, Market DraytonWhat a gem of a place this is! Relaxed atmosphere with attentive owners and staff. Came here impromptu with my husband to celebrate my birthday whilst travelling on our narrowboat. Was able to book my table on line with timely confirmation of booking. We were given a warm welcome and taken to our table. There was a place to put our wet coats and umbrella so we could relax in comfort.The wine flights invite you to have a bit of fun as we try to work out which wines we’d been given…they were all interesting with good depth of flavours. The food follows a Mediterranean theme based mostly around cheese but other dishes are available, fresh flavours, deep toppings with an emphasis on the natural and the unprocessed, keeping carbs to a minimum, and this includes the choice of snacks. In no time at all we felt like we were returning locals rather than random strangers. We will definitely find a way to return to this fabulous wine cellar! Thank you so much for a memorable evening. Xx

Foodshion Garden Chinese & Thai Restaurant Takeaway
15 Cheshire St, Market DraytonVisited the property as a of 9 on a very late booking taken as the proprietor new some of the party.They gave us the table as long as we would vacate by 20 00hrs.4 of the party chose a banquet whilst the others a starter and a main.The food as such was plentiful and tasty and washed down with a couple of drinks. We were all of the opinion that the Satay Chicken starter was the star of the show,but to be fair the rest(10 different dishes)were very close. This restaurant is highly recommended by all of us and if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Market Drayton area this will fit the bill

The Red Lion Inn
Great Hales St, Market DraytonBeing locals already we decided to do the brewery tour for £15. What a fabulous evening it was. Trevor was, as usual, the perfect host and Sam was a great brewery guide. It was very informative with pints before it started and an "open" bar at the end where we could pull our own pints till close accompanied by delicious hot pork and stuffing baps (veggie option available). It was excellent value for money and I would recommend it for a great evening out.

Tilly's Sweetness Breakfast Sandwich & Dessert Treat
26 Cheshire St, Market Draytonwe had a bacon and egg bap and a breakfast wrap both were the best we've had the wrap.waa full not like most places you go and get a limp wrap and the bacon was cooked just right and the egg was lovely and runny just how I like it . and the school cake was lovely and definitely worth the price I will definitely be ordering again and always delivered with a smile from the amazing team at tillys

Newcott Fish & Chips
A41 Chester Rd, Tern Hill, Market DraytonThis is an update and replacement for by 2017 review in which I gave a bad score. My family ordered a take-out meal for 6 in January 2024 and it was very good. The standards have improved massively and I no longer hold a complaint against the Newcott outlet. For anyone planning to visit and reading this, it is well worth a try.

Adderley Rd, Market DraytonWent to the Gingerbread man in the hot weather fancying a nice drink and some food with my mates. Service from Tom and Karter at the bar they were very welcoming and helpful. Freya brought our food over she was very helpful and offered us more drinks and pudding. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. Will definitely come again!

Domino's Pizza - Market Drayton
24 Queen St, Market DraytonAfter working for almost 3 years as a delivery driver for Domino's Pizza, there was no one else we would have had providing the pizza for our wedding! Honestly, they smashed it, everyone was so excited for the food, I heard people say they weren’t hungry but couldn’t resist domino’s pizza! They made 58 pizzas, they arrived steaming out the bags, and stayed hot for ages! They also provided gluten free, vegan, and as a shop they are nut free so I knew they would be perfect for all our dietary requirements at the wedding. They were so amazing to work with, and I’m not just saying that because I work for them! After having been the one to deliver Domino’s pizza to a wedding, it was so lovely being able to have the pizza delivered to us.

Redwood Smokehouse
Redwood, Rose Hill Rd, Rosehill, Market DraytonHad a great meal and just a few miles from home. The food and service were both absolutely fantastic. The food was expertly cooked - the brisket just melted the mouth! The ‘Elvis’ PB&J French toast and ice cream was genius too! Can’t wait to return with the bigger child! Thank you.

The food is incredible every time, and after moving a bit further away we still regularly travel back to enjoy their food. My partner is in love with the minted lamb shoulder and nowhere else quite compares for him haha! We can’t recommend enough.

The Sandbrook Vaults, 4 Shropshire St, Market DraytonLovely pub with attractive courtyard for those of us who like a crafty cigar with their ale. The Boss chatted with us for a while and even offered my friend a free taster of their craft ale offerings. Beautiful interior and an interesting cross-section of the local population.

Joule's Brewery
Great Hales St, Market DraytonPopped in for a tour- it was great!
On arrival you get a taster of what they make, it was quite hoppy and smooth, inside the mouse room. You just help yourself to what you want, the staff are there to assist.
I managed to pour six perfect pints, I was very proud of myself.
The staff then talk to you about the history of Joules and how the particular pub you were in was bought in 2010.
You’re then walked up to the production of the beer, right at the top. You taste the grains. You then make your way down until the tour ends at the large vessels at the bottom. A very comprehensive presentation which didn’t take too long at all.
You then go back to the mouse room, just helping yourself to the beers they have, no extra charge. Pork baps were served- lush! My partner had the veggie option, cheese and tomato.
It has a nice atmosphere- drink and enjoy.
