The Kingfisher is a highly recommended restaurant that offers excellent and reasonably priced food. They serve both English and Chinese cuisine, and accept payment by cash or card. The staff are very helpful, and the Irish curry sauce is highly praised. While the food quality remains great, the chip portions have become smaller recently, with the regular chips now being smaller than a cone from a local fish bar. The restaurant has a few vegetarian options, and has easy access for kids and wheelchair users, though parked cars near the road require close supervision. Despite the tricky drive, the Kingfisher is a great little chippy with massive portions, worth a visit, especially if you're staying at the nearby Travelodge.
