sourCed pizza
2 Quality Sq, LudlowThis is tucked away off the main square in Ludlow. The menu is really imaginative and uses locally sourced ingredients like we have NEVER seen before - it is so impressive and I can’t commend them enough for making so much effort and being no more expensive for it. The food was utterly delicious, good wines and beers, the staff were fabulous and very attentive. If you love 80s/90s gaming and music then it’s right up your alley. The only suggestion is to make a thinner gluten free pizza base, which was quite heavy going. Thanks for a lovely evening!

The Codfather
Prospect View, 6 Rock Ln, LudlowHidden away on a housing estate in ludlow. All My years here and I've never even been aware of it. But family away and long drive back from the airport I decided I didn't want to cook finding somewhere open on Sunday night leaves you with little choice in ludlow and with the road closed even less accessibility. However google maps directed me here. And even just with location I was sceptical. But the lady serving was very pleasant. The food was well cooked and the chips with a red tint were crisp and full of flavour highly recommend

Pet Friendly Places

The Queens
113 Lower Galdeford, LudlowThe food here is excellent ?
The chap serving was very polite and helpful. We were informed that the menu changes weekly. If you visit this place, bring your best appetite. No small portions are served here!
Walkability: There's not a lot of parking but it's a 10mins walk from our accommodation.
Food and drinks: Fish and chips with minted peas, turkey and ham pie and mash.
Tiramasu and lemon tart
We have good appetites but we could only manage 2 out of 3 courses
Noteworthy details: (It's just a shame that the locals are so rude and prejudiced about anyone who doesn't look like them. Their hostility spoils it for the venue.)

The Corner House Cafe & Restaurant
2 Old St, LudlowExcellent fish night in late February 2025. Small but well thought out fish menu. Fairly priced with tempting starters and good choice of fish. Prawns in tempura style batter were crisp and well flavoured. My main trio of Cornish hake, bream and haddock with the famous creamy sauce with grapes was rather good. Nicely presented and fresh quality white fish. Vegetables and potatoes came in small dishes and we're quite acceptable. Quality ice cream to finish. All 5 of us enjoyed our meal. Well priced small choice of reasonable wines. Underrated restaurant. The breakfast I had a few weeks previously was also excellent.

Chapter 66 Ludlow
Castle Sq, LudlowA lovely cafe/bistro/ restaurant in the grounds of Ludlow castle. Certain areas are dog friendly. The staff are very friendly and we felt very welcome. We sat outside with our dog and had a good view of the castle. They offer a full and varied menu . Serve pots of tea and decent coffee. You can enter this business free of charge even though it is in the castle grounds .

BUT Gin needs to be served in a gin glass, not a straight glass. Add a little lemon of orange slice would be nice.

The Clive Arms, Bromfield Ludlow
Bromfield Rd, Bromfield, LudlowHave driven past hundreds of times, but decided to stop for lunch and it was great, I’m almost reluctant to write a review as I don’t want it to be packed the next time I go back! The pub is nicely decorated, clean fresh and the food was out really quickly, so for a quick stop for lunch it was brilliant .. I’ll be back with the family for sure!
