The Boyne Arms
The Boyne Arms, Burwarton, BridgnorthPopped in after a day out at a National Trust property looking for some good, homecooked food and this place 100% delivered.
Great selection of ales and beers on tap, possibly the best Burger I've ever had (The Boyne Burger, 100% recommend) and an absolutely gorgeous Syrup sponge pudding.
We live about an hour away, but we would genuinely consider planning a day out near here just to revisit it in the future. Staff and locals were friendly, pub and restaurant were lovely looking and the food was fantastic.
100% recommend!!!

The Live and Let Live, Neen Sollars
Neen Sollars, KidderminsterWe were greeted by Alan at the bar with a cheery smile and a welcoming nature. Wye Valley beers on tap and a G & T later, we were shown to our reserved table and given a good run-through of all the menu options. These included a set menu and specials for the day. Our Sunday roast beef and steak and stilton pie were just superb. Vegetables were cooked al dente, and my wife had to request a "doggie bag". Two delicious scrummy cheesecakes later, and we were brought to a state of submission. Staff were really friendly, and the atmosphere was great with pleasant cross table conversation taking place. As Arnie says, " I'll be back".

The Hopton Crown
Hopton Wafers, Cleobury Mortimer, KidderminsterThe Hopton Crown is a great find. It is well situated and easy to find, only 5 minutes outside Cleobury Mortimer. There is a large car park. The hotel is very impressive, with lots of quirky features. The inside is well laid out, well maintained and nicely presented. The rooms are very clean, well decorated and functional, with very comfy beds. Breakfast, which was included, was well presented and tasted delicious. It was a buffet help yourself, with a choice of 4 hot dishes for main. The staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel was well priced and excellent value for money. On the whole, well worth a visit and next time, I hope to stay longer and sample the evening meals. I will return.

Mimi's plaice
25 High St, Cleobury Mortimer, KidderminsterI can't recommend this place enough, I mean that genuinely...
I have had fish and chips there three times now, which were excellent, especially the fish. My Son had their burger and was very impressed.
The service is (and has been each and every time) excellent and the atmosphere is very warm, inclusive and welcoming.
So far, my experiences here have been excellent and consistent - keep it up...?
Kid-friendliness: They even have free lollipops for kids, a very nice touch/decent additional thought...
