The Bucks Head, recently under new management, offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. While the dartboard, beer garden, and range of drinks could use some attention, the service is pleasant and the pub has a nice vibe. The new owners have introduced an outdoor wood-fired oven for cooking pizzas. Although main meals were not tried, the cheese & onion roll and sausage roll were reported as tasty. Locals are returning to the pub, creating a decent beer and lively chat experience.
