5 Argyle St, UllapoolCame here this morning and wanted everything. I got a Bacon and Egg Roll which was out of this world. What we also got was a tub of their home made coleslaw; this is the best coleslaw I’ve ever tasted, I wish I’d have gotten more but I’m now over 100 miles away.
Definitely give this a go if you’re in the area. It won’t disappoint.

4 W Argyle St, UllapoolAmazing local cafe with equally amazing food! The local food variety was plenty and was all homemade. The lady was amazing and patient explaining the options which led us to try so many local Scottish delights. 100/10 would recommend and as I always say, support local businesses whenever possible!

Clachan Garden B&B
Clachan Garden Clachan, Lochbroom, GarveClachan Garden B & B was a wonderful place to stay overnight. The house was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail without being ostentatious. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with beautiful views of the Loch and gardens. Margaret and Stephen were very warm and friendly hosts who were interested in their guests.

Fuaran Bar
211, Altandhu, UllapoolGreat food and very friendly service. Our server Rosa was lovely. We ate there two nights running while staying at the campsite. Recommend the tempura haddock and the enormous, freshly made pies. Puddings are also delicious (and huge). Book early!

The Little Bakehouse
West Ln, UllapoolCame here as they made my husbands birthday cake in April. Loved the cake so had to try the bakery. Had scone, cupcake and drinks. Everything was freshly made and very tasty. 5 stars. When in Edinburgh again, we would come here again and well recommended.

Garve Rd, UllapoolLovely find in Ullapool. The service was fantastic and friendly, felt right at home. Nice open space with a comfortable atmosphere. Food was delicious and really well priced with a solid menu. Recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The Seaforth
Quay St, UllapoolThe Seaforth made the largest impact on our journey on the basis of culinary experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to help celebrate our wedding and surprised my wife and I with a heartwarming, teary message in the dessert. It was honestly an amazing experience and we would recommend this place to anyone for a very tasty plate of food and excellent service.

Argyll Hotel
18 Argyle St, UllapoolNice little hotel, a bit older, therefore very narrow stairs and hallways, so not for people with disabilities. Otherwise we would have a beautiful room with a view over Loch Broom, unfortunately there was no chef in the hotel due to a festival at the location, so we were sent to another building with another hotel, which is part of it. Staff was very nice, rooms clean, dogs friendly. I would come again ?

Essence Of India
West Ln, UllapoolWell, I feel most of the harsh reviews are uncalled for. The owner/staff may be a little void of humour but the service was on point and the food was very good. The restaurant is basic but clean and the take away was excellent. I feel a lot of people who write the negative reviews do not eat proper indian meals otherwise they would know that the spices infuse into the oils and create the orange / yellow colour. If I am up this way again I will definitely have another take away.
