Lido Troon
11-17 W Portland St, TroonFood was delicious - flavoursome and of a large amount!! I'd recommend the piri piri chicken. Staff were friendly, efficient and service was quick. Can't quite put my finger on why I'm not giving 5 stars. It just wasn't as cosy as other places and although staff were efficient they didn't stand out.

Scotts Bar & Restaurant
Troon Yacht Haven, Harbour Rd, TroonThe food is excellent and so are the staff. The decor is amazing and the view is great. The only difficulty I had was when I used the "accessible" toilet - I am powerchair user. The toilet is too small but I spoke to a member of staff who very graciously accepted my comments and he even thanked me. Im looking forward to a return visit when the accessible toilet issues have been resolved

Troon Yacht Haven
Harbour Rd, TroonWe wintered our boat at Troon and could not get back to our boat in a timely manner. Our boat was well looked after. Troon was fair and helpful in sorting all our repair needs. The facilities are top notch and we have traveled from Canada. We highly recommend this Marina. The location is awesome. Close to Ireland and easy access to Glasgow or the inner Hebrides.

Cafe 141
141 Deveron Rd, TroonThe staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a cheese and ham sandwich and a lentil soup, the soup was seasoned to perfection and I enjoyed the sandwich. Prices were better than reasonable, I was less than £5 for my food and a can of soft drink! Unfortunately they don't allow dogs inside but it didn't stop the lovely ladies taking a large bowl of water outside and even handed me a complimentary slice of ham for him with my order. This makes me and my furry friend very happy. We sat in the seating area outside and enjoyed our food.Wheelchair accessibility: Entry to the premises is level and the doors are certainly wide enough to accommodate any wheelchair I have seen. Access to the outside seating area is also level and although there are loose stones on the ground wheelchair friendly matting has been placed to allow access to the first 2 tables. I didn't have any reason to use the accessible toilet but there certainly was one available.

The Tee-Room
5 Harling Dr, TroonGreat wee place to sit outside in good weather. I use for takeaway or sitting out. All orders made fresh. Very affordable. Simple, proper cafe food. If you like traditional cafe food - uncomplicated, then this would be for you. Our family of 5 ate for under £20! We rarely sit inside as rather dated …. However, perfect for stopping off mid walk for takeaway or outside table.

Greggs
26/28 Portland St, TroonWe came in and had meal deals today. My sandwich was about 20p more if I added a cuppa, and the wife was about the same adding to her cheese and bacon pastry thing. Decently quick service, even though the short queue was out of the shop when we arrived. There were tables, but the way they asked if I was eating in or out made me suspect there was a charge for using them. (Unconfirmed.) The food was pretty good through - as was the tea - and we took it down to the beach front and watched the sea.

Morrisons Cafe
10 Dukes Rd, TroonFollowing the success of my trip in July 2021, I set out to return to Morrisons cafe for a scrumptious meal. I arrived mid morning and was greeted by the smell of pensioners as you would expect, the aroma of pipe tobacco & dust filled the air. The car park was full of poorly parked cars as per however all the skateboarders outside appear to have been chased off my someone? The cafe was bustling was activity with Louise & Lynn running the show as per. Had a wee pot of tea and sausage sanny which was delightful!! Overall I’d give it a 10/10.
