The Inn at Muckhart
FK14 Pool of Muckhart, DollarSunday dinner. Very busy place with a great buzz. Traditional single storey cottage inn. They don't take telephone bookings turn up and wait. 3rd in line about a 15 minute wait but we'll worth it. Traditional battered fish and chips. (Substantial sized portion of Haddock). Steak and Ale pie and chips. Lovely large pie. Could have done with a bit more veg and chips. Washed done with a pint of local brewery 70 shillings. Great value. Excellent Service from the bar and waitering staff. We will be returning very soon.

Muircot Farmshop & Bistro
Muircot Farm, TillicoultryExcellent food and drink as always along with the fantastic views of the Ochil Hills on a bright sunny autumn day. It's a great pity that it's soon to close down as it has always been a great stopping place for our cycle group.

Penny Licks
120 High St, TillicoultryWe love it here. It's part of our weekly routine now! The ice cream is delicious, I've tried most of them and they are so yummy! (Lemon and Blueberry cheesecake is one of my favourites). Good variety and changes regularly but old favourites always available! Some lactose free options too, oat milk latte ice cream is so good. My son loves the sorbets! I've also had coffee and cake and lunch too, food is always great (I like the flat breads) and you get a good cup of coffee ?
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Lovely place to sit, I honestly think it's the best thing to happen to Tillicoultry High Street!
It's well priced and discounts are offered too with Pure Gym membership and NHS blue light card.
Kid-friendliness: There's some activity sheets and crayons, books and board games to keep the kids occupied.

Volunteer Arms
132 High St, TillicoultryStaff behind the bar were friendly and welcoming. The cost of a pint of Guinness must be the dearest in the town. I attended on their local jam night which was entertaining. Plenty of different instruments on display.

Bayne's the Family Bakers
102 High St, TillicoultryI really enjoy a nice hot sausage inside me in the morning. They are lovely and warm and I really like the way it fills me. Sometimes I have 2 but it can be a bit messy once the butter starts to drip so ask for some napkins

Fabio's
104 High St, TillicoultryWe had a fish supper and single fish last night as there were 2 of us. One fish supper would have been plenty!! It was roasting hot, very fresh and very tasty. Our first visit as we’re relatively new to the area but we’ve found ‘our chippie’ and we will be back ??

Costa Coffee
Unit 1, Sterling Mills, Outlet Shopping Village, Devonvale Cres, TillicoultryI came here on Friday lunchtime. The queue was literally out the door, so it must be a popular spot. After waiting about 10 minutes to get served, we were lucky to get a table as it was packed inside. We got cheese & ham toasties and they were fine, and we also got a coffee which was nice too. It was quite pricey, but that's standard with Costa. The staff were doing a really good job and the place was clean & tidy inside. We would come back again.

Little India Takeaway
55 High St, TillicoultryI've order from here for year's but from the new owners have taken over the food is awful. We ordered a set meal costing over £30. Half the stuff was missing and cold, the lamb korma was full of fat. The cheese nan was stuck to the bag. I ordered rassgula but instead they send me a cheesecake ( no differences) it all went in the bin. My mum and dad also placed a order at the same time for around about £28. They ordered special mixed hoggie and the chips were burnt and looked like reheated food. Over they year's we've spent alot of money in their takeaway shop but unfortunately this will be the last time we ever order from here again the standard has slipped big time. Such a shame. Attention to detail needed
