Victoria's Restaurant
45 Atholl Rd, PitlochryHad a lovely family meal here after climbing Scheihallion. Staff kindly kept our table despite our late arrival. Food was splendid. One surprise was that despite being "Seasonal Scottish Fare" I wasn't able to order Haggis Neaps and Tatties. Toilets clean. You need to find somewhere to park as it's right in the centre of Pitlochry.

Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier
Grandtully, PitlochryThe Highland Chocolatier, Iain Burnett is probably the most famous purveyor of fine handmade chocolates in Scotland and one of the most awarded also.
The shop, cafe and visitor experience is fabulous but be warned ...such luxury could see you part with a sizable chunk of money as his marvelous confections will entice, dazzle and hypnotise your senses!
Well worth the short detour if you're passing Grandtully and it's a beautiful short drive from Pitlochry and Aberfeldy.

Red Deer Pub & Restaurant
Red Deer Pub & Restaurant, Golf Course Rd, PitlochryNearing the end of a 10km hike this pub emerged and beckoned us in.
The service was fantastic, the food was decent "golf clubhouse" food and you get to watch how well positioned the creek is on 18 as it collects ball after ball throughout your meal.
All around a decent stop (and lunch prices are cheaper than right in Pitlochry.
Dietary restrictions: Provided a couple of GF options

Greggs
92 Atholl Rd, PitlochryEasy to see why Greggs is always busy. Great selection of both hot and cold food and drinks, tasty food and reasonable priced, the fudge donuts are amazing. Available for both takeaway's or sit in, although seating area in this outlet is quite small, therefore always busy. Good quick service with friendly and helpful staff. One star deducted as no hot potato wedges available on the day I my visit.

The Inn On The Tay
Grandtully, Pitlochry**5 stars**
I recently dined at the Inn on the Tay, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The homemade Steak and Black Pudding Pie was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection – truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The setting is equally as impressive, with stunning views of the river rapids adding a unique and peaceful backdrop to the dining experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for delicious food or a beautiful atmosphere, this place has it all. Highly recommended!

Escape Route Ltd
3 Atholl Rd, PitlochryWe had a fantastic experience renting bikes here! The service was friendly and straightforward, with excellent tour recommendations tailored to our plans and fitness levels. We rented two e-mountain bikes for £90 a day and enjoyed a wonderful tour from Pitlochry to Blair Castle and the surrounding areas. Helmets and a bike lock were included, and the return process was just as easy. We would definitely rent bikes from here again in the future!

Nae Limits Cafe
Old Military Road, 1 General Wade's Military Rd, Ballinluig, PitlochryDriving up to Queen's view and remembered that they have shut down their cafe so swung off at the last minute for the Nae Limits sign, prices looked reasonable so we went in.
I had the full breakfast, hold the egg, with home made baked beans, local bacon, sausage, black pudding, grilled tomatoes and mushroom and the beans were worth the money alone but everything else tasted top tier.
My wife had Eggs Benedict but this was no ordinary Benedict as the muffin was replaced with potato rosti and the hollandaise mayo replaced with sriracha mayo, my wife doesn't like hot sauce but this sounded so tempting, and it was all so good that she cleared the plate, two rosti and two eggs with greens.
The coffee is excellent as well as the food and all for under £30.
Best value outwith the pub chains but about ten times better than any pub grub.
Almost worth a 2 hour drive just to eat here.
Parking: Plenty of parking space at 1pm.
