The Newhouse Beefeater

Back on a return visit.Welcoming staff as usual and the food was lovely as always.We stayed at the premier inn next door so it was great to bob in and get a breakfast before our travels.

Tony Macaroni

This was my first time ordering from Tony Macaronis. I ordered for delivery well in advance for when they started to deliver. My order consisted of Freshly made real Calamari (not many other places do this) starters and a main course of some lasagne with broccoli. They came with two different sauces for the Calamari and some fresh powdered parmesan cheese to add as I pleased. The calamari I'd give a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone who enjoys it and the lasagne I'm part way through is delicious 10/10. I'm not the best at ordering anything so a big Thanks so much to the lady on the phone, a thanks to the staff, a big thanks to the Chef and a massive thanks to the very polite man who was delivering my food too. Very friendly with a huge smile on his face which is lovely to see compared to other places.. Nice trainers too ?

I go everyday, before work, to get a Latte and the staff are always very pleasent, happy, helpful and the service is amazing. The food is always fresh and very tasty. The shop is spotless and usually well stocked, depending on the time of day.

Hup Lee Buffet Restaurant

Been a long time since l had been there but am glad I went back the food was exceptional the service was great the evening selection was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience will definitely be going back absolutely recommended

Tim Hortons

The staff are so friendly and always helpful, just love a Tim's coffee. There is always a good selection of donuts to chose from

Kid-friendliness: They are really helpful when I take my grandchildren to pick a bit box.

Pepe's Piri Piri - Motherwell

My "go to" for a quick bite to eat. Always consistently good. I've never had a bad meal. Staff are always pleasant and helpful plus it's an open kitchen and you can see everything that's going on with how your food is being prepared. Recently completed my loyalty card to get the full chicken. Don't let that put you off, it's not actually a whole chicken. It's essentially the pieces of chicken, legs and breast that would make up for being a whole chicken. It was all cooked to perfection. Great flavour through the chicken and crispy skin!! My 3 children much prefer eating here than KFC or McDonalds. The food is always cooked well, tastes good, is healthier, not greasy and oily and the chips are always hot, crispy and never floppy

Greggs

It's Gregg's. What's not to like? Affordable, good coffee and food. Better to take away when in a hurry rather than sit in as it is usually loud, crowded and a bit messy. Overall, the atmosphere is not too great...

Costa Coffee

i really like the hazelnut hot chocolate today and the fact that the place was empty as everyone is going to Gregg's for me I'd rather pay that bit more for my drinks knowing there's not a druggie or drunk waiting for the seat or people just taking over the table which your already sat at with no respect for those around them which means I have more time to enjoy my coffee and definitely won't be going near Greggs again

Singhs Tasty Villa

Definitely the best punjabi food around Scotland. Visited this place everytime I'm around Scotland. On Each occison Singh has deliveried the best quality of apna food and service. Home made meat dishes specials are to die for! You know your curry is right when there's hardly any grease coming out not like many of these so called takeaways that drench the curry in oil.Ask for a special curry and yourll be please. Honestly wish this place was closer to home. This type of food is rare to come across and im so glad I bumped in to this jem of a takeway!Thumps up completely :)

Curry Club

I thought it was like an after school club, because I mean like "curry club" what kind of take away says club and not give free food. Anyways I asked if they has strawberry curry and guess what! They said they don't. My freind mark dahanahda told me about this and I think not even he likes

Subway

Great subway! No issues at all, the service was quick even during the busy lunch hour. Food is good, store is clean, service is quick and staff are friendly. Always go in here for my lunch!

Friendlies

No had one out of here for a few yr .due to all holytown ones being shut last Wednesday or a wouldn't have been. But was fantastic. Staff really freindly in friendlies ?

Onestly I have been ordering from here for years and never ever been disappointed food is absolutely amazing I ordered late tonight and food was delivered hot and fresh and tasted amazing the delivery drivers absolutely fantastic knows us by our name the staff when u phone are fabulous and lovely and know what I like cant rate the spice high enough

Bombay Cuisine

Customer service was excellent.
Got a mixed hoggi and was not expecting much. Donner kebab meat maybe slightly above average. Chicken tikka was excellent. Well filled and very tasty. Only downfall was the menu said it was served on a chapati, but was served on a standard wrap.
Great to have the parking to the rear of the show.

Indian Tandoori

Kebab meat is the best I’ve ever tried great food and lovely staff, fast deliveries, good chips could go on forever. Guy at the front with the combed backed hair is a pure gentlemen and good guy. Must visit best in Scotland

Wok Express Chinese Takeaway

Ordered Chicken & Fried Rice, and Fresh fried battered Onion Rings..The food delivered on time and was piping hot and was freshly made. The chicken was so tender and juicy I could cut through it with the edge of my soon, the portions were large

Indian Chef

The menu confused a little when using the search bar so ended up with a curry that had allergens in it for me phoned and explained and was replaced with another with an extra delivery charge and very small supplement. Classic Wok

Always enjoyed any food ordered from here. Salt + chilli dishes are always enjoyable ?Parking: Parking is okay when not busy however if ots a busy time of day or weekend it can be difficult to get parked outside.

Good Will

Really good food, very friendly staff and you never need to wait too long. Salt and pepper chicken balls and the battered salt and pepper chips covered in curry sauce is a must.Parking: Small amount of street parking out front or a small carpark around the back of it.

Tasty Bite

Service very good and friendly. Clean looking shop. Parking to front & side.
Ordered the mixed hoggi and a pizza.
Mixed hoggi was well above average. Donner better than most in Lanarkshire, chicken tikka tasty, chips tasty, salad interesting. Massive portion. Shame it was in a wrap.and not a chapati.
My son said the pizza ? was fine.

Porta Via Cleland

Tried the Porta Via Cleland last week - we all enjoyed our food - fish, chips, steak pie were excellent - great quality - will definitely be back - big thumbs up to this place ?

Upper Crust is the benchmark by which all other sandwich and snack bars are measured locally. Sadly though this business has had to pass on the myriad of inflationary costs to their customer. So it's reputation for unrivalled value for money has taken a bit of a hit. But as the saying goes you only get what you pay for.Parking: It's a busy wee street.

The Railway Tavern

Love this place! The staff and customers are friendly and welcoming. You may enter as a stranger but you will certainly leave this cosy little pub as a friend (and perhaps a sore head in the morning!)

The Brandon Works - JD Wetherspoon

I've gotta say, for a Spoons this place was lovely! Food quality was great, and quick. And I think this is the first Spoons I've went to where you didn't have to climb a mountain to get to the loos ? would actually come back here next time out Motherwell way

New Jade House

Great deep fried chicken satay served here. It's amazing; something I'd highly recommend. However, lovely takeaway cuisine. Parking is to the side of the buildings, which feels at night a bit dodgy due to the lighting.

Upper Crust

Went in with my colleague this morning and had breakfast roll and a cake each, with a tea and a can… incredibly reasonable price, I’d go as far as to say cheap at £7odd each considering the food was of exceptional quality!!We will be back… probably daily now we know about you!

Chanda cottage Indian cuisine (Motherwell)

Great food, pizzas are the best, coming here every weekend for the last 4 years. can’t get enough of the place.

Vegetarian options: has a part of the menu that has all types of vegetable curry’s and other starters such as the vegetable pakora etc

Dietary restrictions: All the food is halal, and also has pescatarian options and vegetarian options

Kid-friendliness: Also has desserts for the little ones such as ice cream and cookies

This has to be the best takeaway I've ever had and I'm in my 60s and have eaten all over central Scotland. The meals are delicious and are not salty as you often find. Prices are great and the service is superb. My family and I have tried a varied selection from the menu and everything is great. Such a good food place.

Tao Chinese takeaway

This is our first time ordering from here for a family dinner. We were very impressed. The food arrived on time, it was hot, the portions were very good and everything was delicious. Unlike other places we’ve tried, there was a good number of vegetarian options!!!

The Ocean Restaurant

I just want to say that this is the best Chinese takeaway I have had in year will be ordering from here now on the best is the curry’s and salt and chili, staff is wonderful helpful and very nice ???

Urban Spice

Stuck in with covid n thought id try this local business for first time. Glad i did. The pizza (thin base/spicy chicken) was excellent. First time i have used Urban Spice and il be back in future. Appreciate the delivery driver leaving at door as i am isolating with covid. Once im better il give u a tip for a great service. Thank u
