Fantastic little cafe. Great coffee and good selection of tarts, soups, breads and cakes all made to a very high standard. We sampled a bit of everything and were really impressed. Service was top notch too, we were made very welcome. Highly recommended.

Picture House

Loving this place. Wendy the Manager is so good with our dogs. We are regulars now that the food has improved. The Sunday lunch is humungus! Enough for two people and very tasty. Love the pies and mash

Best Subway I’ve been to by far. I go regularly to Subway and the staff at this branch are excellent. Highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: The staff are excellent with my eight year old daughter. Very friendly and my daughter often chooses to go here for lunch.

Dinos Pizza

Pizzas were amazing. Really nice crust. Not greasy with cheese. Chips were lovely and crisp, as were the onion rings. Everything arrived piping hot, and the delivery driver was really lovely. Great meal.

Always a welcoming experience and online ordering is easy. You can taste everything they used in your dish unlike other takeaways where it always tastes the same regardless of what you order. My go-to for takeawayKid-friendliness: Kids menu is great, coming with activities and the food is great

Thank you so much to Scott and the other girl at Montrose Subway today, we live in arbroath and we ordered our food and card machine wouldn't let us pay with our phone and we stupidly didn't have our bank card. Scott thankfully had his card and let us transfer him money and he paid with his card. Thank you so much such a kind gesture we are very grateful

Visit frequently to Greggs & I enjoy most of the selection of foods available but would like to see a bit more vegetarian offers. The service is always excellent when I come in, as the staff that I normally see every week are accommodating & polite. Respect to staff member Ru(Ruairi) for his excellent customer service.

Jay's Fast Food Montrose

As always service very good, picked up this time as was in town shopping, timing was perfect and the donner kabab was ? family had crunchy box & a pizza, although i dont eat much chips these were the best we've had in a long time, the pakora & sauce was lush too, dont like it overly spicy which this wasn't..perfect tea for 6!..price very good too, keep up the good work, will be back and def reccomend. ?

I’m one of these people that go to different Chinese takeaways for different things. I’m very fussy. But no matter where else I try I always end up back at the New Hong Kong. My order is always correct (which is rare for me), it’s always quick, ready when they tell you, and it’s always fresh and roasting hot. I actually can’t fault the food or the service in any way. Everyone has opinions on takeaways and have a favorite. But the main objective in any food business is consistency and they hit that nail on the head perfectly. You genuinely can’t go wrong from them in my opinion. Thankyou, was perfect as always

Adam's Fish Shack

Went here today for a late lunch. Food was very nice , good to have a sit in option. Only problem portions are massive but it's a good thing if your a big eater. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Would definitely come back again I enjoyed my meal and service. Would come back again

South Esk Inn

Lovely traditional Scottish pub they also have room to rent upstairs that are comfortable and good value for money . Bar staff are lovely also Adrian and the landlady Tracy are super friendly and welcoming

Northern Vaults

No real ale which is my favoured drink however a pub with good atmosphere, pleasant staff and customers and boasting 4 dart boards, challenge the locals to a game!

Anchor Bar

Best stop at the end of the night, good selection of various drinks and some cocktails/shots. They do free pool some days aswell as kareoky over the weekend. Great place to go during the day for drinks, they have a beer garden. Always gets lively towards the end of the night and you meet many people.

I would like to give a shout out to Natalie on the bakery. I was feeling a bit unwell and she was really helpful. She got me a drink of water and made sure I was ok. Above and beyond.

Visited lochy on Saturday for our tea was very busy football on , what a nice crowd the food was delicious and so generous portions , quick service with a smile , definetly be going back very soon 5 stars richly deserved x

Always greeted with a warm welcome from Jordan, Chloe and Caitlyn! The staff work exceptionally hard to ensure your order is taken, prepared and ready promptly. Jordan is always cheerful and quick with his great sense of humour, leaving the customers feeling great! Food is excellent, always piping hot and fresh!

Montrose Fish Bar

Staying at a local hotel we decided to eat out .ordered fish supper fish was huge and tasty piping hot so we went back to the hotel to eat it in our room a few night later we tried the pizza chicken and ham delicious
