Main Street, LochgoilheadGreat place set a beautiful location on Loch Goil. We stayed for a week in a Gold Caravan with views overlooking the Loch which was magical. There is plenty on site to do including swimming, kids activities, a good arcade. There is plenty of amenities and good walks around the area.
Rooms: Great Caravan, very clean and spacious.
Nearby activities: Great walks in to the village of Lochgilihead. Here you can do plenty of outdoor activities including canoeing and kayaking.
Safety: Great safe place.
Walkability: Lovely walks in the area there is lots to see and do.
Food and drinks: Onsite they have a restaurant and takeaway. You can also go In to Lochgilihead village and eat there.
Noteworthy details: Carrick Castle is a must visit it's very peaceful and beautiful. The boat house is a great place to eat.

The Boatshed Cafe
at Loch Goil Cruisers, Lochgoilhead, CairndowAmazing little cafe with the most incredible views you can imagine. The owners are so friendly and you can tell they really care about making the whole experience memorable. They even ask if you’d like to move to an outside seat to take in the view. The place is small, the parking is a challenge and you do have to wait, but the food and service more than make up for it.

Drimsynie Estate Hotel, Lochgoilhead, CairndowWe had a great meal here to finish off our stay in one of the lodges. The food was good, with a decent variety on the menu. We were served by Calum, who made it even better with friendly and attentive service, and made us feel very welcome in the restaurant
