2 Almondvale Ave, LivingstonFor this restaurant it’s located in a the food court of the designer outlet. They have a range of oriental foods with options of rice noodles and the toppings of chicken in different flavours from Chinese curry, Katsu, salt and pepper and sweet and sour. They have options of box meals where there are upgrades to add a side and drink. They offer extras like dips on offer 3 for 99p. When I was in visiting for a meal I was upsold to the meal with extra side and I opted for the extra sauces for my side. They also have an app in which you gain points for visits.
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is located in the food court which is family friendly with seating options for bigger parties.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access however it’s located on the second floor in which there a lift nearby.

Although easy to find the pub is a little off the beaten track and nestles in an industrial estate - don't let that put you off though as the food and welcome are excellent.
We had a carvery and a pizza with a side of chips - the pizza in particular was delicious and went down a treat.
We were very well looked after by the staff, and spoke to a neighbouring table who agreed that the service was brilliant.
It's a pity that this little gem is so hidden away - that's the only reason I can think of why it wasn't bustling on a Saturday lunch.

Mrs had a chicken, bacon and cheese panning. Plenty of filling.
Delicious and gone in no time.
Forget the usual chain cafes. If you're in Livi... get in and have something.

Hawk Brae, LivingstonHad a great night at Oscar's last night. The food was delicious and the 2 courses for £8.95 weekday deal included a chicken pakora and a STEAK with delicious mushroom sauce and I was blown away by the price. The three female staff were mostly friendly and attentive, especially the young lady who came from the bar to take our food order.
The beer selection was limited with only Birra Moretti on tap and some other bottled lager. I would have liked to see an ale or an IPA but that's just personal taste. The Birra Moretti was refreshing enough.
The cocktail menu was slimmed down from our last visit but my wife still found two cocktails she was happy with.
The only negative was on arrival, the two female staff were very busy behind the counter and unfortunately we were ignored when we arrived. My wife pressed the bell but we still were ignored. When we went around to the counter they did apologise but even an acknowledgement "we'll be with you in a second" would have been nice.

Staff were very welcoming and great service - Natalie was extremely helpful and even suggested a few cocktails for me to try. Designer Outlet, 1 Almondvale Ave, LivingstonWe used to visit this restaurant a lot but due to a new job we haven’t been for a while, visited last week and the staff were all so nice and helpful, chatting away asking how we were. We arrived for the restaurant opening and they asked if there was any particular pizzas we would like for the buffet, Robert and Laura couldn’t do enough for us. The food was great and plenty of choice. Restaurant was spotless clean as usual. Look forward to our next visit soon xx

It was quiet so I didn't have long to wait.Chips were good,nicely cooked not too dry or under fried. The fish had a nice flake to them, had no smelly fish taste that I find in some places.The batter was a little a bit soft not sure if was due to the sauce and travel for five mines in the box. The greaseproof paper was stuck to the fish, so I had to slowly scrape it off with a knife. Good amount of chips and fish was two pieces.Overall not bad and would order again.

I had brought my little girls to Livingston for a treat and we found our way meandering to Waga Mamas. Becca the waitress brought a vibe to the table that lit my girls eyes up. Listening to her conversing to two twelve year old girls as if she had known them for forever was incredible. I find it hard to put what I’m thinking in writing but I can only try.
My girls left Waga Mamas with a big smile on their faces because Becca had gone more than the extra mile to effortlessly make them feel special. She treated them like young ladies who were dining at the Ritz and made me feel so proud of the way they instantly warmed to her.
Becca’s parents deserve a shout out too and I hope they get to see this. We all want our children to be the best they can. We invest the most important thing we can which is time into them. You both have done well with your daughter.
Thank you Waga Mama for hiring amazing teams, giving young people the space to shine and providing amazing food too.

The food was fresh, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was great. And here’s the kicker – when I asked James if the fries were hot, he said, ‘Hot enough to melt the King’s crown!’ Safe to say, they were perfect!

Oscars Pizza.Pasta.Burgers
Hawk Brae, LivingstonHad a great night at Oscar's last night. The food was delicious and the 2 courses for £8.95 weekday deal included a chicken pakora and a STEAK with delicious mushroom sauce and I was blown away by the price. The three female staff were mostly friendly and attentive, especially the young lady who came from the bar to take our food order.
The beer selection was limited with only Birra Moretti on tap and some other bottled lager. I would have liked to see an ale or an IPA but that's just personal taste. The Birra Moretti was refreshing enough.
The cocktail menu was slimmed down from our last visit but my wife still found two cocktails she was happy with.
The only negative was on arrival, the two female staff were very busy behind the counter and unfortunately we were ignored when we arrived. My wife pressed the bell but we still were ignored. When we went around to the counter they did apologise but even an acknowledgement "we'll be with you in a second" would have been nice.

Bayleaf Indian Restaurant
90 Uphall Station Rd, Pumpherston, LivingstonVisited the restaurant with family. Chicken Bhuna was so fresh and tasty! Also loved the plain nan. Everyone loved their food… would definitely recommend. Couldn’t get a taxi and the owners took us home. So friendly… can’t wait to return.

Taste of China
Almond E, LivingstonFirst time trying, lady on the phone was so kind and pleasant to chat with. Food arrived after 35 mins, we got beef and chicken curry fried rice and chips, curry is amazing not had a curry as good in years! Rice cooked to perfection and chips were so fresh food all nice and warm.
Lady who also delivered was nice and pleasant too.
Will be my go to Chinese now 100%
