Visited today for a catch up with friends. Atmosphere was great and Calia served me and was friendly and patient while I made a rather large order for us all. Would happily return again.

Ciro’s at Glenbervie

We went with the family for the two for one pizza. On a Thursday night I must say the pizza was very nice and the service was good .Kid-friendliness: The staff were very good with the children.

Ròst Coffee Co

Popped in as we needed somewhere for lunch that wasn't too big a detour from the motorway, and glad we did. Great coffee and particularly good toasties. Need to find an excuse to go back now.

The Tea House

Best curry I’ve ever had. Try it duck mushrooms chicken king prawn curry was outstanding. Had fried rice noodles and salt and chilli chips with it to share. 10 out of 10

Candied Ice Cream Parlour Stenhousemuir

Came in today just after opening with my daughter and my elderly Dad for ice cream which was delicious ?,the lovely lady that served us was amazing and very good with my toddler and went out her way to chat to her and ask about her Anna dress (Frozen) and made her a strawberry ice cream cone in a pink cone fit for a princess she said ,she was also good with my Dad who has dementia,So all in all a great experience,even more so as she was on her own and still had some set up to do but just took it all in her stride and went the extra mile to make it special for Ava and spent time chatting away .5 stars for ice cream and service! Did not star the atmosphere as we intentionally came in when quite as dad can't handle busy noisy places but I am sure it has a great atmosphere!.Kid-friendliness: Totally the right attitude towards little Princesses, customer service above and beyond ?????

Premier Inn Falkirk (Larbert) hotel

Staff were superb at welcoming us for our stay. The check in was quick with no problems. The public free carpark is the size of 2 football pitches and will easily take any size car, van or larger vehicle like a motorhome if so required. But be aware the surface is very rough and some potholes which can make it tricky for wheelchair users. The main Disabled parking bays approx 4 by the front door were always full of works vans when we needed to park all with no blue badges? The other disabled bays were across from the front door approx 150 feet away across very poor and potholed road surface and in the rain meant being very wet when I eventually negotiated the terrain. The lift at this hotel will only take one wheelchair and luggage but was very clean and fast. The rooms are a little tired and ready for a refurb and it could also do with power sockets for both sides of the bed. This would mean not having to use an extension power cord to run my CPAP machine at night. Also the thermostat wasn't the best I've come across on my travels. Be warned have a shave before a shower as the extraction fan only works when you flush the toilet and so the bathroom is like a steam room when you've done, everything is dripping! There is no air conditioning but a fan is provided. The main room window open 6 inches. The Breakfast was taken within the hotel in its own dining room. Buffet style with good hot dishes available and the staff were fantastic with the service. Good choices of drinks hot or cold. Great location for easy access to the motorway but far enough not to hear it. The photos were of the Dining room which was spotless.Nearby activities: Great garden centre 10 mins walk away with 2 decent cafes/restaurants.Food & drinks: The Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Domino's Pizza - Stenhousemuir

Went above and beyond after i made an order and just eat messed up. I was not very nice on phone as my daughter was in hospital but they still went after shift and delivered her food and drink.Kid-friendliness: Looked after my child even when they had no obligation

Spice Magic Takeaway

Awesome takeaway with lovely staff! The food is great - cooked in good time and very tasty. The staff are always very friendly, particularly Andy who is always smiling! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ?

Deep Fry

Got a huge portion of chips. Freshly cooked, slightly crispy on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside just like they should be. The black pudding was also one of the biggest I've ever seen. Not to worry, I managed to skarf the lot down my neck and found the whole supper was well tasty. Only 4 stars because I feel guilty eating 3500 calories in a single sitting, if you like large portions of deep fried food this is probably one of the best places for it in Falkirk.

The Bruce

Had a private function and staff went above and beyond to make the day so.special .Two bar staff were fantastic, when the boss pops in on her day off to.make sure all went to plan .thank.you Jean.the day went to.perfection..Buffet was just beautiful every thing .thank.you all so much for making our brothers send off a lovely special day..highly recommended.. ???✍️✍️

Four in One

I absolutely love this place. Out of all the take aways I have gotten in Falkirk this is by far the best one. It’s the only place I’ll order from for pizza and onion rings and my god try the warm brownies and the hot cookie dough. Been ordering here for years and not once had an issue.

Gulnar Express

Had given up on finding a clean, high hygiene standard, friendly kebab shop in the Falkirk area. Gulnar express was recommended and we were not dissapointed. Ordering was easy, selection was good. On arrival the shop was spotless. The staff were wearing clean aprons and a hat yep proper food handling attire. No hoodies or black fleeces in sight. The portions were huge. Two large kebabs could have fed a family of four. The salad was fresh and the staff used tongs not their hands. The food was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. Only criticism was it was far too much to finish. Well done for restoring my faith in kebab shops albeit you are in the minority.

Very good fish and chips!! So much better than the one I had in Oban in a restaurant, the fish crust was so thick, oily and hard, and the chips were frozen, but here homemade chips and the perfect fish batter!!! ????

The Stables Bar & Kitchen

Popped in for a late lunch. Place was pretty quiet. Great choice on menu, but both of us opted for the steak pie. Was absolutely delicious. Hadn’t been for a while, but will make a point of returning soon. Really couldn’t be nicer, and good value. Telling my friends, would be great for a wee night out sometime soon. (And the Christmas menu looks great!)

Gulnar Tandoori

Glad we booked, as the restaurant was full, however in saying it was busy, the service was excellent, drink served almost immediately. Staff very friendly and helpful, good selection, quality of the food was top quality, and full of flavour, absolutely first class food, and all at a good price.

Mr.Rice

Canton House has changed hands and is now called Mr.Rice. The food is of a better quality than the average Chinese takeaway using less bland ingredients. We did enjoy the food. One thing, remember to order your rice as you don't get the prompt "boiled or fried'.

Twice The Spice Takeaway

Found an amazing place to have mixed kebab and tikka burger but I'd never go there when they just opened at 4 PM as most probably you'll get left over stuff mixed in your kebab box. I phoned them, The owner tried to confirm from the chef if he mixed any lamb tikka or kebab thingy from the past day but he definitely mixed the left over tikka/kebab as it wasn't the first time i had their fresh mixed kebab.

Great food and price. Edited with more detail. The prawn toast and wontons are wonderful. The shared starter is a generous size.The beef curry and rice tasted very niceThe staff are always helpful.

1st time at this time Hortons branch and its 100 times better than east Kilbride AND dunfermline!!!!The food and the service is way better.On a Sunday you can get a meal for £4.99 which is fantastic value for money and you can't go wrong with a box of time bits!!!
