The pizza is the best outside Italy ?? I struggle to get a decent pizza, especially the base when you are used to having in Sardinia Italy. My son also agrees ?

1 Hope St, LanarkWas a little sceptical as whenever we walked past, there wasn’t many people dining in, but chose to try the food.Very tasty and good portions.The best curry we had had for a while.Staff very polite. We noticed there were many people ordering to take away, so is a hit with the locals.

U2 40, 42 High St, LanarkI was a little disappointed. I wanted the roll and bacon and a coffee deal. It does state that you will pay more for a "fancy coffee," but £1 more is a bit steep, I think. Its only 50p more to go from a flat white to a cappuccino, so why charge £1 for the breakfast deal?.
Vegetarian options: I've only seen a vegetarian sausage roll, if I'm honest.
Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately they don't do gluten free!.
Parking: Parked right outside
Kid-friendliness: Kids were in when we were there and they had little kids meals.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room

Chillies Takeaway
121 High St, LanarkMoved to this country from South Africa and have never had a better pizza then the ones they makes. My whole family obsessed with them and all ways order pizza when come down to lanark. I would one hundred pricent recommend there pizza.As well they are quick when making them and the quality is fantastic, plus with an Atmosphere that your one of the famliy what else can you ask for??Vegetarian options: There vegetarian options are great its the only one my mother wants to order and she's not vegetarian.

Gallowhill Rd, N Vennel, LanarkI have had a lot of bad experiences of supermarket cafes but I rate this as the best one I have been in. Staff are all smiling and can't help you enough. Food was fast and presented with a bit of pride in what they do. I can't praise them enough and will visit again.

78 High St, LanarkMy fish from the takeaway was perfectly cooked, with a soft almost creamy and flaky texture in a lovely batter. The fritters were enjoyable too. The prices were as good value as you get in most chippies and more so for the high quality. The staff were friendly and pleasant. Though I hadn't used the restaurant I had a look in and it was tiny but immaculate and very cozy. Looks great for a family occasion where you could easily have the place to yourself with a smiling, polite waitress on hand. ??
Parking: It is right on the high street and lots of parking space. It gets very busy though daytime's but tonight, Sunday it was quiet.
Wheelchair accessibility: The takeaway had steps with narrow standing space but the restaurant was wheelchair accessible.

31 Smyllum Rd, LanarkBest Chinese in Lanark at the moment.Best salt and pepper chicken and chips easily. King po chicken was great. Mini spring rolls aren’t the best but ok. The guy at the till was nice and helpful. Good guy. Quick service too. We went on a Friday night and it only took about 20 minutes.Parking: There’s a few spaces very close to it.

Very clean tables and prompt, polite, friendly service - three different ladies asked if they could take our order. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of chicken, rice soup served with half chicken sandwich and generous side salad. Hubby had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and toast followed by fruit scone with jam and cream.Tea for two came with pot of hot water - always welcome. Great value - under £24. Will definitely be back.

20 Wide Cl, LanarkJust popped into The Woodpecker Lanark on a day trip out. Yes it's a Thursday so quiet but OM Goodness the food is amazing. Chicken Wings in Korean Sauce stunning as was Cauliflower Tempura. Steak Sandwich to follow was succulent and so tender. Cajun Chicken Pasta amazing a lot of it !!! The waiter was lovely so attentive. Great place to eat can't wait to take our son and partner who are real foodies. A Must Go To Place ❤️

2-6 Hopetoun St, BathgateVisited the cafe today and super impressed. Food was so tasty and very reasonably priced. Milkshakes were also very nice. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon! Also thought their pay a meal forward was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend for a tasty snack.

I was served by a young man with long hair (unfortunately I didn't get his name) and he was so polite and amazing, even after telling me what shots they didn’t have he went through what they did have, when my partner left to lift cash he watched my items for me when I went to the bathroom, he was so polite and genuine and I left a £10 tip (if at the time I had more cash I’d have given more) for how polite and genuine he was! That’s what service should be and I hope he feels like he’s done good at the end of every day. 2/10/24 we visited, thanks to him we will definitely visit again
