This is one of the best places in Kirkwall both for a drink and an inexpensive, tasty, filling dinner. We frequented it throughout our stay, and had meals such as mushroom tagliatelle and prawns, all really scrumptious and well priced.
Very comprehensive library of local and even world whiskies. Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in sampling from this deep menu, not quite as good a venue if you're not, perhaps. Small but pleasant place for a quiet drink.

I though I might struggle to find somewhere to eat,having only landed at the airport at 19.30.I was pleasantly surprised to find this bar serving food until 20.30.I had the steak pie, which was superb,washed down with three pints of very nice Orkney Gold.Prices were good as well!
