Brought in Hogmanay here with family and the kids - have to say a fantastic night. Buffet was great, drinks were great, staff couldn’t do enough for you and the DJ was also top notch. Hope they do this again as was a great family night out and value for money. Would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and organisers as without you it would be impossible. Best Hogmanay in a long time! Xx

Great wee cafe with lots of delicious food and great coffees. Good options for dietary requirements (though GF cakes can disappear fast!). Lovely team/service.

Vegetarian options: Usually vegetarian & vegan options available, alternate milks too

My husband and I went in today I had a lovely bowl of porridge with lots of fruit it was absolutely delicious and lovely and hot . My husband had a panini and he really enjoyed it . The coffee was really hot and the macarons were amazing . Will defo be back very soon

My only real issue was staff allowing some lads to Blair their phones watching social media while they scrolled. It's a restaurant. For people who. Struggle to hear in conversation it made it unpleasant on top of the loud ambient music.

Oh the above table lighting could use dimmer bulbs. We all struggled with the brightness over a dimmer period.

First time in Kirkcaldy - tried as many pubs as possible, and all filled with nice people. The best of which were at The Harbour. Out of town, but close to a very good Italian restaurant. Very warm welcome, well kept hand pulled ales, usual keg offerings and their own brew. Has some nice Belgian bottled beers as well. Friendly local clientele happy to chat to newcomers. Has a juke box which was great. Fantastic place and, in my opinion, the best pub in Kirkcaldy.

I was here on Saturday for my friends hen do. We had the room at the back and it was absolutely stunning with the decorations ? The food was amazing as always, we had a cocktail making class which was so much fun! Cocktails tasted amazing too. All the staff were brilliant and so welcoming. Aine made the experience so much more brilliant as she joined in and was such a laugh and went along with our fun and laughter. Thank you.

My wife and I were on a break for our anniversary and went in for a meal and on arrival we met Gracie who showed us to our table. She took our order and when the food arrived it was amazing and the service from Gracie was first class, she's a lovely girl and we tapped into her local knowledge about where to do some shopping the next day. She told us the best places to go and let us know about the market that local traders put on on a Friday. Everything about the Duchess Kirkcaldy from the ambience, to the food and the music played was outstanding and I'd recommend this establishment to anyone local or even passing through. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit Kirkcaldy a well run and spotless restaurant, we'll done to all the staff for making it friendly and an amazing place to eat.

Stopped off to buy some meat from the shop and decided to stop for lunch in the cafe and we are so pleased we did. We was warmly greeted by one of the ladies who showed us to a table and asked if we was wanting breakfast or lunch as it was just before 12. We opted for lunch and went for a buffalo burger and fries which was absolutely delicious. We then followed this with the coffee tower. Fab food and service. 5*

We had a great time here, and the food was amazing ? It certainly deserves 5 ? We booked the restaurant in advance as we went here to celebrate birthday ? We have been a group of 15 people. The starters were popping hot, so fresh and tasted delicious ? We had non-veg and veggie platters. Non-veg platter included chicken tikka, hot wings, lamb kofta. It was really tasty. For the main meals, we had a variety of non-veg and veg curries, my favourite been always here Garlic Lamb bhuna with pilau rice and garlic nan. Everybody enjoyed a lot and really praised the restaurant for great service and amazing fresh and tasty meal. I also have to mention that they are selling the best Rose wine Mateus ? ? It's very tasty wine indeed ? They also have Cobra beer ?Highly recommend ?

Phoned for a ABC takeaway, on a Saturday night,there number was engaged for a while but as I had their food once before I patiently waited for an answer,they explained that that they were busy and delivery would be about an hour and half,they were spot on with there time schedule and there food arrived still pipping hot, their portion was large and very adequate but most importantly of all it was the tastiest beef chow mein I have ever had, I couldn't fault it one bit,I knew it was going to taste delicious as the first time i went into ABC takeaway a while ago I was standing waiting for my order in there shop, it was quiet arround 6.30pm when I went in but when I turned around after I ordered it was full of customers and that showed me that this was going to be a very good Chinese takeaway and I haven't been disappointed,I would definitely use this takeaway again and again,can't wait to try their other delicious food,,

Fish and chips (and ships) from Beatrice's (Valentine's) is a tradition handed down the generations in our family. My fish of choice is Icelandic (boneless) haddock - fried to perfection as I wait and served with tasty chips, a slice of lemon, salt and vinegar. 'But what about the ships?' I hear you say. After grabbing your bounty and bidding the staff farewell, take the quick drive down to Seafield Beach. You can park, take in the sea air, and enjoy your food while gazing at the ships peppering the horizon - taking a postprandial stroll along the shore if you see fit. Watch out for the seagulls though - they also appreciate Beatrice's delights.

This is definitely a nicer setting than their old place across the road. There is more room, but at the same time, it feels cosy. We opted for the chicken ramen, haggis balls x3, chicken dumpling gyoza, and Japanese fries with a cola and a latte. As the haggis and gyoza were on the starter menu and the ramen on the mains, we asked for it to be brought out at the same time. However, all the dishes were brought out one at a time with a slightly longer gap in between than we had anticipated. I'm not sure if this slower style of serving is on purpose in order for us to savour each dish (or get used to eating with chopsticks! There are knives, forks, and spoons available). If it is, then you might struggle to get a quick bite to eat. The food itself was really nice and couldn't complain about the taste, if anything it could have been a bit hotter and the ramen (at £17.95) could have been served in a bigger bowl and filled up to the brim. The latte was very nice. The servers were polite and well presented. There are customer toilets available to the rear. Because it's a specialist Japanese establishment, do be prepared to pay a little more for the food and drink. Overall, a very nice place to eat and drink, we would certainly go back again.Parking: There are time limited and Pay & Display parking nearby. Access onto the High Street is restricted to disabled drivers with a blue badge, check Fife Council parking regulations as they change day to day.
