KinrossMy family and I happened across this wee coffee shop after a lovely walk around Loch Leven. Despite arriving nearer the end of their day we were able to get some delicious breakfast rolls to eat in, and couldn’t help ourselves but to buy some of their delicious bakes/cakes to take away! The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much bother. We would definitely be recommending and will look forward to another visit when we’re in the area, what a lovely place!

98 High St, KinrossFantastic brunch today with two of my friends. We all had the avocado and chorizo on sourdough. Absolutely delicious and highly recommend. Great service and staff were friendly. Constant flow of people and all tables full, so definitely popular!

First off… BOOK a table before you go — it gets really busy (and you’ll soon see why). Food I don’t use this word lightly… the food we’ve tried is EXCEPTIONAL. The "Big Yin" and "Wee Yin" all-day breakfasts are easily among the best I’ve ever had. ✅ A menu with enough variety to give you choice without overloading you ✅ They cater for dietary intolerances too, which is a big plus ✅ Local produce, served piping hot (yes, even the beans!) ✅ Beautifully plated and the meat is absolutely top-notch They also offer pancakes, toasties, soups, and other options — and smaller portions if you prefer a lighter bite. Drinks We’ve only sampled the hot drinks so far, but the tea, coffee, latte and cappuccino were all spot on — both taste and presentation. They use Myrtle Coffee beans, so you’re supporting a local supplier while getting a quality brew. ✅ They also offer milk alternatives for anyone with dietary needs. Atmosphere A relaxed, welcoming wee Scottish cafe — calm decor, friendly vibes, and a cake and scone display that’s downright dangerous if you’ve got a sweet tooth. It’s also very family-friendly, which is always good to know. Service The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of the place — they genuinely care about the food, the atmosphere, and the customers, which is a refreshing change. Pricing It’s definitely at the higher end, but given the location, quality, and service, it’s more than justified. Parking Plenty of street parking just a short 2-3 minute walk away, so no hassle there. Overall We’ve only been a couple of times, and it’s a 30-minute drive for us — but Heaven Scent has already gone straight in at #1 on our list of cafes. Highly recommend you try it too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Kirklands Hotel
20 High St, KinrossLove this hotel, location is smashing, rooms a nice size, staff so lovely! Nice menu for dinner at night and a lovely breakfast all freshly cooked and served to your table in the morning! No having to make your own toast or waiting in queue for use of the coffee/tea machine! No congealed eggs or beans or overcooked sausages because they've been lying on a hot plate too long!!

The Grouse & Claret
Heatheryford, KinrossWe got married here on 24th August 2024. The Venue is picture perfect, no matter the weather, the food was outstanding, with all my guest commenting how delicious the food was. First Class service from Vicki and her staff from start (pre wedding, on the day and after) to finish. Excellent value. The Grouse & Claret is highly recommended by us, thank you for making our special day perfect. We have also visited for lunch, which again the food, service and value was amazing.

Le Jardin Cafe
Caulders Garden Centre, Turfhills, KinrossI, together with my late husband, began frequenting Le Jardin when it began in Kinross and when living in Milnathort and subsequently in Glenrothes and now Ladybank I still love to visit there. My favourite food is Hot and Smokie and I particularly like the mustard sauce which goes beautifully with Smoked Salmon. Well done to Kim and Sam and to all their friendly staff for a wonderful job.

78 High St, KinrossThe food was delicious!!! We enjoyed so much! My group of friends and me are in the camping area and we decided to get last minute Chinese food! Is the best in the area! Is only for take a way, and you can pay only by cash, otherwise a few meters there is an ATM machine!! They gave us some snack for free :) highly recommended!

15 New Rd, Milnathort, KinrossRecently moved to the area this will be our regular takeaway. The girl was so lovely and friendly asking me about my sash I was wearing after an afternoon tea hen do. We ordered fish and chips and chips rice and curry sauce. We were served so quickly in no more than 5 minutes in the busy shop. Service and quality has been the best in the area. We will definitely be back to see your friendly faces again, thank you for treating your customers so well we appreciate it!

Loch Leven's Larder/Channel Farm, KinrossUsually enjoy an afternoon at LLL. However, I took my Mother there on an icy day in December. Tried to park in the disabled area but no spaces available. A quick check revealed that there were cars parked there with no disabled badge displayed. Mentioned it to a member of staff in the restaurant but they could not have been less interested. What’s the point in having these spaces if you allow people to park at will?

132 High St, KinrossTop quality food, top quality staff, extremely polite. Prices are good because what you get for it is amazing and tasty . Highly recommend.
Parking: If you can not get parked outside, there is a road directly in front, go down there, and there is a car park at rear usually with plenty of space.
