The Old Pier Tearoom
Lamlash, Isle of ArranWe had a take away coffee and fruit tart type pastry to eat along the front. Service was excellent and the pastry was sooo nice we walked back for more to have for our evening meal pudding. Everything looked really nice and freshly baked.

Café Thyme
Machrie, Isle of ArranGreat lunch with our family of 9. We were lucky to get a table at 12.30 on a rainy day as the place was jam packed. Delicious home made soup and sandwiches. Staff were happy to be flexible with orders for our picky children. Nice play area outside and a couple of shops next door.

The Parlour
Kames Cottage, Brodick, Isle of ArranWasn’t expecting to find a vegan pizza on Arran but here we are! Delicious caponata topping with nooch and pine nuts. Loved that it was an unusual option. Also had a couple of vegan dips and chips. Very tasty would go back.

The Stags Pavilion
Lochranza, Isle of ArranAbsolutely fantastic restaurant!!! Probably one of the best meals iv had in a while and eat out constantly. The lovely friendly staff managed to squeeze both me and my children in for some food after we got caught in the rain and no other places were open, so we were more than grateful. Lovely peace of heaven with absolutely beautiful food, we had the wild boar, highly recommended! We will definitely be back, prices were brilliant too!!

Machrie Community Hall Within Machrie Golf Club
Machrie, Isle of ArranA fantastic tearoom, in a brilliant location. The menu was extensive and the service was excellent, prompt, friendly and professional. Being half way round the coast road of Arran, on the West Coast, it is a perfect venue for breakfast, coffee, lunch or an evening meal or takeaway. What a find, I highly recommend for everyone who loves good food in a great location.

The Coffee Pot
Shore Road, Isle of ArranPopped in pretty much as it opened on a Friday morning and whilst the hot chocolate and big slab of chocolate cake were delicious and the staff were nice, the service was incredibly slow. Not a place to quickly pop into whilst waiting for a bus! Perhaps we were unlucky and it was unusually busy. ?

The Old Byre Visitor Centre
Auchencar Dr, Machrie, Isle of ArranThis isn't a review of the Visitor Centre, although from the previous reviews it seems like a fantastic place to visit. This is a review of the experience I had when using the online store. Found exactly what I wanted, price was reasonable, as was the shipping costs. Fast delivery to Ireland too. Very pleased, and will use the service again! Thank you.

Blackwaterfoot Lodge
Blackwaterfoot, Isle of ArranWe had the most lovely stay here in early April 2022, with three adults and two kids for a few days, to have our first glance at the Isle of Arran. We will definitely come back here, as we were as unlucky with the weather that the ferry might not even depart. But the owner of the B&B was already aware of that when he welcomed us to his lovely place.Even though the restaurant was not open yet, he offered us my very first and most delicious fish and chips for dinner. I think I will be ruined for ever with too high expectations. Also he offered a second meal option if one of us would like the have something different and lit the fireplace every evening for us. So we could enjoy the evenings by the fire, whilst outside the rain and storm were fighting each other. He gave us very nice tips for exploring the Isle, let us taste on of the Whiskeys he had in stock and was taking care that we are fine all time. So I really enjoyed the stay, and can only give my warmest recommendations for this charismatic place and his lovely owner.

The Lighthouse
Pirnmill, Isle of ArranWe always like to book a meal at the Lighthouse Restaurant when we visit Arran. It's our favourite restaurant, the menu options are always great, the service is absolutely first class as is the food, which is always delicious. The small team of staff are really warm and friendly, and it's just a really nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a lovely meal in. Thank you Lighthouse Restaurant!

Burlington Guest House
Shore Road, Isle of ArranThis is a gem of a place, lovely setting looking out to sea with glorious sun rises... best ever porridge, thanks Nicole can't wait to sample it again. Nowhere in village for evening meal but plenty in Lamlash a short 3 mile drive. Parking is on side of road but not a problem. Very comfortable, homely guest house, highly recommended.

Indian Garden
Lamlash, Isle of ArranStayed in lamlash beginning of April. We decided to try the Indian garden, which is now called the spice garden I believe. We had starters, prawn madras which was very hot & spicey which I like. My partner had the chefs special treat which is sweet with pineapple & spicey. Never tried this combination before & it was Absolutely delicious. Food is cooked fresh & the staff are very polite. Don't be put off by the building as it doesn't look much from the outside. You won't be disappointed.
