The noise level was very good, despite the restaurant being busy, and this created a very calm atmosphere. This establishment is perfect for families of all ages. Thank you all for the service you provide.
Dietary restrictions: I required a gluten free option and this was available for all courses.
Parking: Parking is available at the rear of the building and also on the street. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but there was still plenty of spaces remaining in the car park.

80-82 W Princes St, Helensburghwe went for our anniversary this evening the food was amazing the most delicious Indian I've had in years we asked the gentleman who owns the restaurant what he would suggest for us to have and the food he chose was lovely. The 2 person starter was yummy and the perfect size , the lamb on the bone was cooked amazingly and the chilli chicken was divine. I would definitely recommend annayas. Five stars.

33 W Clyde St, HelensburghTook a drive down and stumbled upon this, enticed in by one of the servers and his pals. So glad we came in. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was amazing. We had chicken, skewers, patatas bravas, breaded chicken and the cod - it was delicious and cooked to perfection - the cod was especially good. Really enjoyed dinner but the best part was the team - only 4 of them and although very busy, they kept things moving and were friend key, helpful and good fun. The staff really made this place and they should be proud of themselves. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dinner everyone.

The service was very nice, food tasted phenomenal, drinks hit hard yet went down easy, and the atmosphere was very pleasing. Honestly my only issue was the patty on my burger fell apart very easily.

Staff are lovely friendly girls serving exquisite cake,empire biscuits and coffee. The location in this sleepy little village is perfect.Only around 25 minutes drive from Helensburgh, this is a place most certainly worth a visit.31/3/24 Quick return visit. As previously stated food, service and location are all perfect. Lovely area for a relaxing day trip.?

30 Colquhoun Square, HelensburghVisited Sugar Boat for a late breakfast. We had the full breakfast, a pancakes, and a smoked salmon and eggs on toast. All were delicious, highly recommended! Coffee was also great. Really liked the decor, it had a fresh, upmarket modern look. The cakes also looked excellent, but I didn't try them as having cake for breakfast feels like breaking an unspoken rule of life.

Beef curry and boiled rice the beef was cooked perfectly and no horrible grizzly bits and the sauce lovely and thick. Mixed meat Sambal chowmein full of meat little bit of heat just enough. Can't fault anything. Would definitely recommend. The person taking the order was very polite too.

The Terrace Coffee House
8A Colquhoun Square, HelensburghThis was our first visit to The Terrace. We popped in for some lunch and although we only had toasties, they were super tasty and the side salad was lovely and fresh. Coffee was lovely too. The young man who served us was very professional, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Been going here for years but went to the one in rosneath for awhile but have come back to the Golden Valley as the food is better.Please note this takeaway is CASH ONLY. It has been for years and will continue to be for some time I suspect - the little corner shop down the road has a free cash machine if needed. They are currently adhering to COVID guidelines and you need to order via phone and then wait outside for your food.

We mainly go for breakfast rolls (which he gets fresh in every morning from mcgees) but have had lunch a couple of times, foods good and portion size is really good aswell! The people that work there are always so friendly, the coffees are delicious and the baked goods are even better. They have an area specifically for your little ones all set up with toys, play kitchen and books so you actually have a chance to enjoy your coffee while your kids are playing safely right where you can see them.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids corner for the kids to play with the toys or to read books.

Glen Fruin, HelensburghI highly recommend this beautiful venue. Last week I got married at fruin farm and the full day was nothing more than absolute perfection. Both Wayne and Rebecca are amazing, the location is stunning, the food, drinks, staff, scenery everything was just perfect. Myself, my husband and all our guests were looked after to the highest standard and nothing was any bother or too much to ask for. I fell in love with fruin farm the minute I stepped foot in the place and I left more in love after an absolute wonderful, magical and perfect day. I could not fault a single thing!

113 Sinclair St, HelensburghPerfect. I happened upon this place when my travel plans changed last min. So glad I did. Really close to the train. Bus stop right in front of the house. Hosts stayed up to wait for me and made sure I was feed before leaving. Just wish I had longer to actually enjoy the space and the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend.
