Taj Mahal
89-91 Kempock St, GourockOur party of four were visiting from Lanark for the midnight swim at the outdoor pool. We managed to bag the last table available on Wednesday night which speaks volumes in itself. The food was delicious and plentiful. We also had a vegetarian in our party who was spoilt for choice. I'm so glad we chose this place The service was wonderful and very friendly... we were even given little extras to add to our meal. Thank-you, we had a great night and will definitely be calling in if we are through that way again.

106 Shore St, GourockOutstanding service ?? bar staff are attentive. Great atmosphere and live music was unexpected but amazing. This is a great wee local where everyone knows your name and if they don't then they will after a few. I'll be recommending this to everyone. You're never on your own in here.

The Cove
1 Cove Rd, GourockWent on a Saturday morning for a pancakes and it was extremely busy, managed to get a table but had to wait 30 minutes for our pancakes to be made due to other customers ordering the same thing, ended up our dog had a bowl of sausages and was fed up waiting on us to get our orders but couldn’t complain when they arrived, great portion sizes, friendly staff and reasonably priced.

99, 99 Shore St, GourockAs I work on the roads I like to pop in to a new cafe every time in somewhere, todays stop was the gourock bakers, wasn’t disappointed in the prices and was extremely pleased with the food, if you swing by and the have lentil soup I’d grab a cup won’t be disappointed:) thanks for the service

We always strive to get a window seat for amazing views across the watter and the chance to watch the wide array of boats, from small yachts, to fishing boats to cruise liners to nuclear submarines and in season the world's last surviving paddle steamer, the Waverley. Dolphins often swim by too.

The Darroch Bar
72-73 Shore St, GourockOk so in scottish terms it an 'old mans pub' but u can tell that from outside before u walk in the door so its not pretending to be something ut isnt. First time in the Darroch for a friends wedding reception. We were in the function room upstairs. Its a no fuss, no frills venue but does the job! All the staff were lovely. The house band played for an hour and they were awesome! If you like your rock music this is the place to be in Gourock for live music! Karaoke followed and what a great night we had! Karaoke host was a good laugh and really encouraged everyone to get up and sing. The drinks were flowing and we were surrounded by good company so what else coukd u ask for? Thanks for a great night!

83 Shore St, Gourockbest Chinese food I've tasted in a long time, on holiday and decided to get a Chinese takeaway.The lady on the phone was so lovely and helpful. The food arrived piping hot well within the time she said. The chunks of chicken in the meals was cooked to perfection and plenty of it as well. Will definitely order again before end of holiday.

Three in One
17 Kempock St, GourockChips cheese and garlic sauce has always been a favourite, the garlic has gotten rather powerful of late however. The kebab meat is nice and doesn't leave u feeling greasy after eating like some takeaway's. The only negative is it is a little pricey but everything seems to be getting very expensive. £4.50 for a small chips cheese and garlic sauce.

14 Kempock St, GourockUsed Giannis and got the full family a take away. Pizza, chicken nuggets, chips and pizza crunch. Delivered in half the time expected and food was still hot. Everything was amazing . Well done, brilliant service. Just wish we had change to give driver a tip.
