Food was nice enough, all looks delicious but to be honest the sausage rolls were a bit dry and we personally prefer puff pastry, definitely needs sauce with it, and the cinammon bun looks beautifully made but was dry in places too, and a bit light on the cinammon flavour for our personal tastes.
Chai latte was very mild on the chai flavour, could have done with more flavour but i'm used to having the syrup and not chai tea.
It was fine overall, and it was what we needed after being out in the fresh air, and a convenient stop after an autumnal walk in Gifford woods.
We've just been to a fair few brilliant café bakeries in and around edinburgh lately which are just more to our personal tastes. You can't really rectify pastry types/ the flavour profile of hot drinks if that's the chosen pastry type/ flavouring method a cafe uses. I still gave this cafe 4 stars.
They have no highchairs, quite a small seating area anyway so probably not practical, but it worked out ok luckily as our little one was happy sat on our knees.
Noticed it says dog friendly for anyone wondering.
