94-98 Titchfield St, GalstonDinner on Saturday night for 4. Had booked for 7 and were a bit early but they were able to accommodate. The Agricultural show had been on and they had been busy all day. Despite that the young people looking after the restaurant did a super job. Somethings were off the menu as they had been so busy earlier but it did not take away from the food. Girls really enjoyed the steak pie and the guys had the pasta dishes, carbonara and dirty macaroni. All very good. Starters and sweets were excellent. All told highly recommend

4 Henrietta St, GalstonVisited the mauchline shop today for the first time for lunch it was so fresh and tasty.. it was brilliant. Cakes are a treat aswel.. Amazing service so friendly.. will definitely be back. Xx

Crossroads Roundabout, KilmarnockI was recommended to try the food Hub. I pass it every day to and from work but never had an opportunity to go in. The person told me it’s expensive but delicious. Today I decided to treat my parents for lunch. The prices were much cheaper than I expected them to be and you get a decent size amount for what you pay. My parents had the fish and chips, their response was, the best fish and chips they have had in Ayrshire by far. I had the chicken and cheese chilli wrap with chips. Amazing. Their milkshakes are out of this world, even better then, sorry to say the COO Shed. So I do recommend you try and book as it’s very busy but you will not be disappointed. I even had to treat myself to a wee cake on way out. Also take the opportunity to look in the farm shop as the prices are really good and they have some wonderful and delicious items on sale. 28 Polwarth St, GalstonExcellent shop well laid out with a wide variety of clothes, very good quality and reasonable prices. A big plus is the cafe within the store with excellent menu for snacks and delicious coffee which comes from a local blender.
