29 High St, FortroseHad a very wet walk with a very wet dog, walked in and was offered dog treats, told to sit Infront of the fire to dry out and warm up. Made to feel like one of the regulars. One of the most welcoming pubs I've ever been in

The Anderson
Union St, FortroseEverything about The Anderson is great. First, it is nestled in the hauntingly beautiful and serene Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food and drink are fantastic and the proprietor is delightful, creative and brings new meaning to funny and charmingly quirky. Can’t recommend this place enough!

11 Marine Terrace, Rosemarkie, FortroseA friend and I dined here for breakfast, we had American Pancake breakfast and Pancakes with bacon and syrup and they were delicious. We also had lattes and it’s the best latte I’ve ever had! It’s worth mentioning they do alternative milk for them with intolerances/allergies - lots of cakes also!!
The staff were very friendly and polite. Service was quick even though it got really busy, really quickly ??
We enjoyed it that much we are going back to try the dinner menu ? next review coming up……

The Plough Inn
