Just stopped in briefly for coffee and cake but the staff were so lovely and accommodating for us and our 6 month old daughter. The cakes were really nice but the welcome and the atmosphere is what makes this place stand out ?

Kid-friendliness: Excellent with our 6 month old daughter, really kind and accommodating, they even brought out some plastic bowls and spoons for her to play with!

I stayed in Forfar for work, the hotel restaurant was abysmal, so I took to wandering and discovered Jeet.

It's an authentic Indian restaurant. With great food and a friendly service. I was in Forfar for two nights and came for my evening meal both nights. Wonderful, wish it was my local.

Dietary restrictions: Very detailed allergen information and very informative wait staff.

Always enjoy the food from here. Portions are great, and the chicken is exactly how you'd want it to be, crispy and delicious. Would suggest anyone order from here.

Parking: Only street parking available in immediate area, but generally it's not too hard to get a spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: 1 step into the door. Easy with help. Not so easy if alone.

My favourite pizza place in Forfar. Delicious base and ingredients, I like the veggie options with jalapenos while my husband loves double pepperoni. They're usually quite fast for delivery, food is always piping hot. Great selection of sides and mains and easy to order online or pop in yourself.

Staff very friendly and good with kids food was amazing I had the surf and turf stake was cooked amazing asked for an egg with it and was very happy to find my yoke was runny have no complaints what so ever. Just one suggestion I would love to see a roast beef dinner on the menu

Kid-friendliness: Has play area inside and out side to keep kids entertained while waiting on food. For older kids they have a pool table

We changed to The Ranj as our local take away when getting kebabs and have never looked back. Bought the Ranj special combo kebab tonight and it was fresh and delicious. The donner meat is the best in town as far as we're concerned. They have also changed their chilli sauce aswell which is now superb.

The service when in store is always amazing - the staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating. However, anytime I order for delivery, the order is frequently wrong. For example, today I ordered a sandwhich on untoasted Italian bread (I always order Italian and untoasted because I have sensory issues) but it came on hearty Italian and was toasted. The most common thing wrong with my orders are that they come toasted. The staff need to slow down just a little bit and pay more careful attention to what is actually on the order.

First time I have been in here, in fact it's the first time I have been into a Costa for over 2 years since I moved up here. Always get a great hot chocolate. This one was the after eight mint flavour, it is very tasty. The cafe was clean, warm and inviting, and very quiet. The usual test and trace was in place. Well worth a visit.

Popped in on my own and was made to feel very welcome. The staff were very attentive and the food was GREAT. the 12oz steak was worth every penny. Note, NOT a complaint but it comes on a sizler so order rare if you enjoy medium rare to rare as it'll slowly cook on the plate. Veggies and spuds were perfect. A great team!! Thank you all.

A group of us went here for some cocktails and snacks. We pre-ordered bite boxes, 1 cheese, and 1 protein. The boxes are packed full of delicious goodies like cheeses, crackers, and deli meats. Cocktails are great, and there is a very relaxing atmosphere where people can sit and chat without having to shout over the top of music. 10 outta 10!

Went here on Tues to celebrate my 60th, from the moment we walked in friendly welcome, there was happy birthday lights on table my friend organised balloon at my seat.Taken to the table ordered Turkish shot, aniseed flavour I cant remember the name and bottle of prosecco.We were given few minutes when waitress took out order,We both ordered Sucuk my favourite comes salad spiced onion sausage and warm pitta bread is very tasty, then I ordered Yogurtlu kebab with pitta, my friend had Karasikizgara normally served with rice she had swap rice pitta bread not problem plates come very hot but your are warned it kept the meal hot though out, I never had sweet but friend had baklava did have small bit try. Then my cake came out. The food was fantastic very talented female chef.If you want fantastic food and service I would recommend Sultan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 star

This was a pleasant place to go drink and talk to the locals. my friend said we'll go here because there's no fights and it's close to the police department which is right down the street. it was great we got into a fight at closing time right outside on the street, it was all over in 5 minutes. It's a cash-only bardon't plan on buying everybody's drink with your credit card ring cash.

It's very rare in life that things live up to our expectations; the reality rarely matches the dream. Now imagine that what you've been imagining, holds incredibly personal and special value to you, and it's even less likely that the thing or place connected to that will be able to live up to those preconceived hopes. Osnaburg Street is an exception to that rule; Osnaburg Street is where my mum, her sister, my gran and grandad lived in the years before the war; a war that (amongst other things) led to the family latterly relocating to the south of England, causing me to be in the first generation born south of the border. After mum passed, I made the journey to Forfar, to see the street she grew up on; the chippy where my gran would have bought their fish suppers, and the pub that my grandad would have had a pint or two in. You can imagine how much it meant to me to find a street that oozes charm, originality and social history, given its relevance to my family. Unfortunately as my time was limited, I didn't get to have that fish supper, but I did buy things in two of the shops there and had a few pints of 80 Shillings with the locals who were a warm credit to both the town and the street. If you long for days gone by, and an escape from the plastic, glass and stainless steel of today's soulless world, this is one place you should visit and soak up real life and real people.
