16 Balconie St, Evanton, DingwallDuring our trip, we stopped at this lovely café where we enjoyed tea, coffee, and two of the best fruit scones we've had in a while. The staff was amazing; the woman who served us made us feel so welcome. She even recommended we visit the gorge, which we did, and it turned out to be a wonderful hike. If you ever have a chance to visit this café, please do—you won’t regret it!

Balconie Inn, 10 Balconie St, Evanton, DingwallGreat Chinese. I've had a number of takeouts from here and they've all been tasty. Sweet chili king prawn (or chicken) with an order of large crunchy spring roll and special fried rice is my goto.
