Trellis Coffee Shop
50 Main St, Newburgh, EllonStopped here for a quick breakfast. We were delighted to see substantial breakfasts with eggs as well as delicious pastries. We were starved from walking on the beach so breakfast hit the spot. The back wall has a huge window which gets in so much sun with a great view of the dunes. The servers were prompt and friendly. Great one stop, fill up shop!

1 The Square, EllonThe Chocolate bar did a fantastic kids afternoon tea party for our daughter’s 3rd birthday with all her cousins back in January. Great sandwiches, cakes and hot chocolates. We’re also able to do a special plate for our niece who has some food allergies to make sure she was included. Kids all had a great time! Would recommend! Thank you!

Great coffee and scones.
Unfortunately our visit was completely ruined by an other customer who asked repeatedly for my pup to stop barking. He stood over our table in our personal space and continued to tell me to stop my dog barking. I explained he was a puppy and very excited and that i had brought treats for him to keep him occupied. He could see the chew treat on the floor. The man repeated his request for me to stop my puppy barking and so I asked him if he could help me stop the barking and he replied “it’s your dog”. I kindly explained that we were in a dog cafe and perhaps he could visit a non dog cafe next time instead. He persisted and it was obvious that this man was a bully and felt entitled. He then approached the waiting staff and asked for them to stop my puppy barking. This was an unfair and unrealistic ask of them. They explained that it’s a dog cafe and dogs bark here. He continued his campaign of harassment despite staff speaking to him politely. He used intimidation techniques by staring at us and whispering to his friend whilst still staring at us.
Very unpleasant and upsetting experience.

Neil Ross Square, 25 Bridge St, EllonThe Symposium cafe in Ellon is a little gem in the town. They offer a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. They have got savoury and sweet treats.The place was heaving as the farm market was taking place just next to it in the square.We ordered a pancake with bacon and syrup. In my opinion the pancake was too thick. Service was faultless

Unit Balmacassie Industrial Estate, EllonVery fun experience getting to see BrewDog HQ. We ate a ton of excellent food and got to try out various beers. The staff were top notch, so friendly and attentive and really made the extra difference. Easy access from Aberdeen and parking out front. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

Seriously good kebabs and lovely crunchy chicken pakora too.I’ve not written any reviews in ages but I had to do one for this.BTW their red sauce is beautiful too.The way a sauce should be for kebabs.Not sickly sweet or overwhelming with a chilli kick.

Shakes 'n' Cakes Ellon
1 Union Ln, EllonCute little dessert shop, the crepes are absolutely amazing and there are so many options and toppings to choose from. Staff clean regularly and are very kind! Would definitely recommend coming here, the atmosphere and people are incredible and make for a lovely experience!
Parking: There’s parking right outside the shop and nearby!
